dang man im getting grizzly wintergreen as a starter. had some last night at a bonfire from a good friend... went come and projectile vomitted. no kidding. but ima try it again. i think it was from the beer instead. my body doesnt handle beer. carbonation and alchohol dont mix well with me well. i chewed once and was on top of the world. so imma start dipping grizz wintergreen, anything other kinds of grizz i should try? It gave me a good feeling in my mouth more than cope... i like the feeling of fiberglass raping my mouth.:)

Grizz Mint is better in my opinion over wintergreen, but i did cope started with it and not goin to anything else

Before you write off all snus on because of the shitty camel and skoal brands that have been released, try some of the real Swedish stuff. Swedish Match is a leading manufacturer of Swedish Snus (which is basically the Straight Cope or Grizzly to Camel's Skoal Bandits) and Swedish Match also owns and produces Red Man, Timberwolf, Cohiba cigars, and a few other leading cigar brands. Long cut is a longer cut and a little more harsh on the lip, but I find that it tastes better and the pinch won't come apart as quickly in your mouth. Straight cut, or what I'm assuming you are calling short, is a much, much finer cut. It has a smoother feeling that doesn't bother your lip as much, but like I said, it comes apart easier and spreads all around your mouth. As far as how long you keep it in, its up to you. Half an hour is usually a good time, it just depends on you. My grandpa will actually keep a pinch in all day without ever changing it cause when he is working on the ranch his hands get dirty so he can't change it. Hope this answers your question.

They're full of shit. People, from my knowledge, rarely get cancer from dipping tobacco. 1 pouch a day is like nothing to top it off.

I agree. It is true the more cuts the more buzz, but the more cuts the m/ore tobacco glass and chemicals that get in, whic in turn will create more mutated cells, which is also known as cancer.what I suggest is if you wake up in the morning and your lips and gums feel cut up, lay off on that spot and swithch to another, aka molars or top lip.always practice switching spots. Not only is it a good habit, but it delays thr growth of cancer by a lot! Also, choose carefully on the brand, cheaper brands contains a lot more glass, flavored tends to annihilate my lips, because of the chemicals they use to achieve flavors. I am a traditional copenhagen/red man type of guy, and with the techniques I use I have dodged cancer and numb lips. Chewing for half an hour can be convenient and save you money, but the longer you leave it in the easier it will cut your lips.
P.s. when I go with flavor, skoal vanilla wins everytime. Easeof holding it together, along with the coffe flavor it gives me.

Another thing, I drink water called kangen wat. It changes the pH of the water to a healthier pH that can bave some great benefits to your body. It also alkalines the water, and cancer CANNOT grow or spread in an alkalined body. Those who are concerned about the cancer risks should invest in this machine. Yes it is costly, about 4000 dollars. But if you do end up with cancer, you will be spending 10x that much in surgeries and kemo, which doesn't eliminate the risk of cancer entirely. With everything this world has that can harm us, I call it a good investment. This water has given me more energy, and is a natural colon cleanser. Japanese doctors have quit using regular sterilizing chemicals, and have switched to using kangen watgper as an alternitive, and from what I understand, it works better than anyone has expected, producng a higher percentage of successful patient recoveries. I am not working with the company, and am not an advocate. Just some friendly advice from a fellow chewer/dipper!

Yes, you read that right. I'm a gay man from the South and I dip. I know most people think that gay guys don't dip but we do. We also like to look at a Skoal ring on the Wranglers of a cute guy with a cute butt. I myself used to chew Levi Garrett but now I dip Apple Skoal. I don't care what other people thing of me being gay, dipping or dipping Apple Skoal. To quote Cher (a gay icon) "If I want to put tits on my back, it's nobody's business but mine." Enough said.

Nothing beats Grizzly Mint. Thats all i dip, and don't plan on changing. As the first few times can make you pretty sick really easily, don't take such a big lip but as time goes by make it bigger. If you want a buzz suck on it, it wont last as long but you can just as easily take out that lip as it starts to dry and put in a new one. Skoal and Cope both pack terribly, stands straying out into your mouth all the time... Its a great inconvenience in my opinion. I've never experienced anything that packs better than Grizzly, and nothing that tastes better than Mint. Therefore I recommend Grizzly Mint over anything else.

And to "John B" or whatever. You'll get cancer if you keep doing it for a long time. 1 pouch a day isn't anything. A pouch isn't even big. I go through cans of long cut every 2 days or so.

I recently started dipping and I started with pouches but now do grizzly wintergreen lc yet one I first put it in I feel I do it right but I think the pouches screwed me up cuz I used to suck kinda on my lip to get more juice and I think I'm doing the same thing with the long cut and I'm not getting the most out of my dips! It's pissing me off cuz it's a waste....looked up steps and all it says is put it in pack it in and spit but I don't think I'm getting the full effect like I keep "repacking" it I guess...need some tips bcuz I quit smoking and don't want to go back

And one more thing Copenhagen is the best buzz. Longhorn is cheap and alright. Skoal tastes the best. And grizzly is the best packing.
