Yes, they are. And that is harmful, but you are puncturing your gum with microscopic fiberglass that the smokeless tobacco industry puts in their products to help get chemicals and nicotine into your blood stream faster.

I just bought some red man. How do i use it properly?
Sam, please don't use chewing tobacco. You are setting yourself up for a lifetime of addiction where you will no longer control your decisions, but the nicotine in the can or pouch in this case will.

Nicotine is the most powerful drug on the open market. Please read about the effects before you take up this awful drug.

hey yall this is goin to sound crazy but i tell u what if you microvave your red man a few times or find some other way of dryin it and chop it up and smoke it.....its awesome i think its the best pipe smoke that there is period and if you change the bag everyone thinks you got the best stuff there is to have im serious and its a really good smoke every bit as sweet but the honey tea like flavor comes out more and when it burns it smells like youve got a barn behind ure house
just don't microwave it too long or your whole house will smell like burnt tobacco for a week. Lol. Personal experience.

I have chewed Redman for over 30 years! Redman is the best, hands down! I just had a heart attack 4 weeks ago and the doctor said, "no more chewing". I've had 1 chew since and more to come. It can't be that bad for you. My grandpa chewed and lived to be 103. Redman rocks!!!!

To masoncook: and all the other chewers and chewetts out there !
I took your advice about the honey and WOW!!!
It was amazing ! But the only down side I had was afterwards the honey gets sticky all over your fingers and sticks the ( shake ) tabacco to the bag
To make it hard to scoop out that last bit in your bag but over all GREAT IDEA !
Now what are some other things people like to add in there chew ?
masoncook, I have tried the honey as well. Very good! I like to put honey and cinnamon in mine. It makes it a little spicy which tastes great. Also if you have the time, let some fruit boil in a pan and make the juices in to molasses and then let your red man simmer in that for a while. That's pretty good too.
