Hi Saar,

It is good advertising your site but can you think about our orders which are pending since august month ???

You promised us if we don't receive our orders the 28th of this month, you will resend the order. All that I see for this while, is you are thinking more about the advertising of your site than sending orders. Why a such behavior ?

A lot of members have sent you an email but you have even not replied to them.

The success begins with a customer service. All the sites who don't care about their customers don't earn money anymore after.

I got my order quickly (I'm in the US) but the cigarettes were utter crap. They sent me some incredibly weird products, like 60mm cigarettes with an itsy-bitsy filter. Not only that, but the tobacco blend was seriously off. I guess I should have expected that when they were priced $17 a carton! Fortunately I only got one carton.

My order evidently shipped on 9th july (according to email) then on 12th July (according to another email) and I'm still here on 7th August with no order. My email requests go unanswered and the phone number launches into some incomprehensible voicemail. Now I've done more research on this company and find not only are they located in Israel but the stream of postings on the internet regarding non delivery and non reply to queries is endless. In short, don't bother. Give your moeny to the local dogs home where at least it'll be used to good effect. If this website isn't a scam then it's a masquerade and should be shut down immediately. I wonder if the Israeli govt know about this guy.....?????

Hello, my name is George and your site is a scam. I was ripped off by your offer of cheap tobacco and when my order didn't arrive after the stated 21 or 30 days (depending which part of the website you read), I started checking. Seems like Dutyfreedepot.com has a whole host of folks out there waiting for not only their orders but an answer to their repeated emails as well. There are also numerous unsupported whining replies by the company rep describing ho the complainants order will be fulfilled, money returned etc. However, the number of complaints far exceeds the number of customer replies that have actually either received their goods or eventually received redress.
Save your money, pay the tax and don't feed these cheats any more of your hard earned dollars.

Well I thought I would try them out. At £3.50 for a 50g pouch of tobacco, it had to be worth a go.

Placed my order on the 19th August. Got my tobacco 8 days later, no problems, proper light blue Drum, moist and tasty.

Recommended them to a few friends. First one who ordered 10 pouches also had no problems at all.

Maybe we are just lucky, but suddenly the prices have doubled to about £6.00 a pouch (which is still better than £11 in the UK shops) but I'm hesistant now having read all these complaints.

I've dealt w/Duty Free Depot for about a year now. I' ve had one problem when I failed to get a promised delivery. I contacted their customer support online, they apologized and immediately shipped my product to me. As far as the product, I smoke Parliament Lights 100s. The ciggies shipped to me are labeled as made in Switzerland. I can't tell the difference. The only drawback is they keep going up in price. If the price gets a little higher, I'll just pay the extra pennies here @ home and not wait 3 weeks for the international deiivery. But all in all...Duty Free can offer great deals and COUPONS!!!!

I placed my order in the middle of October last year for 3 items. I received 1 item after about a month and then nothing up until now. I sent an email on Dec 5th regarding
the other parts of my order and they didn't respond until Dec 25th!! They offered no explanation or reason for my order being missing and just said "your order has been shipped", the same message as was sent for the original order. It's been more than 30 "business days" since I received that message and I still haven't received the remaining parts of my order.

I have a strong suspicion that the company uses an old tactic. They deliver everything perfectly and treat the customer well in the beginning, when the orders are small (My first order was only 1 item I think), and then when they've gained the customer's trust and he orders multiple items with a higher price tag the company just fails to provide the product and doesn't respond to emails.

Another suspicious point, the price for my product changed both times I purchased it. I just checked a second ago and it has changed again, but lower this time. It's possible the system remembers you, assumes you think the price hasn't changed, and then charges a higher price than you just payed a month ago without you noticing.

Something else that's interesting, while it might be true that the packages have to be split for customs reasons, it also allows the company to collect the payment before you realize anything is wrong. So even if you do call your credit card company to report fraud/abuse/not receiving full order, the money has already been payed out and can't be withheld/retrieved from the company.

The website, email responses and the gentleman on this board all offer phone numbers to call (all of which are different) in case of a problem. Yet, I've attempted to call these numbers more than 10 different times and at differing times of the day and not once has anyone ever answered the phone! Many times an answering machine will pick up and the voice will be in a British accent but the number I called today had a message in Hebrew or Arabic!

I really do think this company is a scam but they try to trick you into trusting them and spending more before they decide to rip you off.

I hope I can get a response from this site because I sure haven't got one by emailing [email protected] Saar Levin, if you are reading this message please look up my order, 303184 from 10/17/09, and find my email address and then email me personally explaining what has happened to my order and when I will receive it. If this doesn't occur, I will start posting complaints on every website I can find to hurt your company's reputation. After that, additional, more unfriendly steps, will be taken as a response to being ripped off.

Thank you

On 10/02/2010 I ordered carton of smokes order number 117151 for 15.99, a week later i am told the order was canceled. I get my credit card statement and it shows a charge of 15.99 on 10/02/2010. I asked Jane, Saar, and other Dutyfree depot associates if that order was indeed canceled and they sent me the cancellation number and assured me it was canceled. So I do what anyone would do, I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. I'll be damn I pay for something I didnt receive. Anyhow a couple days later Anita (another associate) calls my phone saying there was a misunderstanding and she would send out that order immediately as long as I cancel the dispute. So I say fine I call and cancel the dispute I end up getting my smokes and the charge of 17.59 was on my next statement for that particular order. I dont know why it went from 15.99 to 17.59 but anyhow i am not worried about it. Now a few weeks later I get e-mails from Jack, Saar, or the Site period saying they do not tolerate chargebacks blah blah blah and now I have a minus -1387 on my account, and getting hell like I did something wrong. Plus this isnt the first time dealing with problems on orders. Now I am getting all kinds of crap from Saar Levin, like i did something wrong. So for yall that read this, Do you think I was supposed to pay the charge even though I was told by 3 different Dutyfree depot employees that my order was indeed canceled??

I have ordered 400 Embassy No1 from these shysters and guess what they have been seized. Despite me paying extra tax on their website to comply with duty free laws in UK.

I have now received a very suspect looking letter from the UK border agency. YEAH RIGHT!!!

CON MERCHANTS DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I paid $182-00 including extra duty tax for 400 Cigs these were not cheap and you still ripped me off.

The order no is 138534 for any company fraudsters who like to reply to this.

I ordered 6 packets of cigs - all but 1 were seized. I have tried to get refund but now my emails are being ignored. I have threatened legal action which I will take if I dont get a response. Over £200 out of pocket - NEVER AGAIN - I'd rather give up smoking
