Morning man Matthews out at B104, station says

Ken was the best in the morning. The Lehigh Valley lost what most larger cities couldn't compete against. Ken made you laugh out loud, made the mornings go by fast, made you smile. It sucks without him and B104 will never be the same.

Ken, please let your fans know where you will be working so we can tune in to that station. I've already switched from B104 to 99.9 the Hawk. That morning show is much better.

I've been tuning in every morning waiting to hear Ken's voice. I'm so sad that he's gone. It's going to be hard to find a morning show to replace. It's the only station I didn't want to hear music in the morning, just Ken, blabbing away. Good Luck Ken, we'll miss you in the am.

I work in Allentown and was off work for a week and can not believe Ken is gone. I think B104 is making a big mistake. I feel the same as everyone else who has postted here. The day I found out that Ken was no longer at the station I changed my dial on the radio and haven't been back since. I know they do not care what the listeners think because I emailed Laura St James and told her I changed stations. I know she didn't really read my mail because the reply I received from her said she hopes I find something else at the station I would like. What part of I already changed my station didn't she understand? I have not laughed out loud in the morning with the new station I have on now, boy I REALLY miss Ken! Best of luck to him and I hope we can find him somewhere on the radio soon!!

It looks like B104 made a big mistake by letting you leave...Like many many others, you were the only reason why I was listening to B104 every morning...You made me laugh so hard for years...You had the courage of your opinions...Not sterile news,an intelligent viewpoint (I did not agree with you all the time but I really miss you). I am glad to see I am not the only one missing Ken...

I read in the morning call last week that Ken was supposed to speak at the Conference of churches in Whitehall last Wednesday. If this is true, he is still close by. Don't wanna give anyone false hope but I was excited to read it.

I hope you come back to radio Ken! At least you are doing what you are good at which is public speaking. Maybe you ought to try something like motivational speaking or seminars.

I was wondering what had happened to him and why those two others were in his place. I had been hoping he was just on vacation. The music is repedative and often poorly mixed and now my favorite guy is gone. Also, will they please just stop that stupid "All you need to know" nonesense with the news? Like most people I too have now switched from B104 for good. Despite everything pulling Ken was the last straw.

I switched from CAT Country because they were always changing morning DJ's. So I thought B104 with Ken was a good choice. Mornings are already difficult, Ken made them palatible - funny, real, intelligent. I miss it and will certainly switch from B104 to another station. Since listeners are leaving B104 in hopes of finding a decent morning show, I hope B104 advertisers also take their business to another station as well.

I email Laura St. James and she didn't even respond back to me! I guess they don't care about Ken or the listners. I switched stations at home and work. The B104 morning show doesn't even play current songs. It's all old stuff. Keep getting everyone to switch to other stations to show our support for Ken.

Wish we knew what REALLY happened.... Any station that won't read emails and properly reply is sad. So B104, goodbye, and I already have a great Philly station I tune into. PS-And they read and answer emails too!!
