There is a possible issue with IE9 or possibly with windows 7 64bit version. I have seen the same behavior when connected to a NPU8x2 running R3, but not on NPU1C nor NPU3B/c running R4.
Are you using IE9, try downgrading to IE8.
The MINI-LINK Craft is launching IE for some of the pages, this is why IE and Windows versions can affect this.

Hi guys. I know it's a technical forum, but could anyone advise me on health safety issues on these, please. Vodafone installed a 2p AMM indoors and a 300 mm dish outdoors on our roof and since then I have flu like symptoms, headache and sleep disruption.
I asked the people who installed them at the time of installation, and of course they wouldn't say that it's bad for you. Still I don't want to put my family out to risk.
Any suggestions are welcome.

I am not an RF expert, but I would find it highly unrealistic that you would get symptoms from a Microwave radio.
The beam are quite narrow and the security distance are from 0,5m up to some meters directly in front of the antenna, depending on antenna size.
The output power from the RAU are max 30dBm and the received power usually at some -30 to -60 dBm.
Frequency range are usually from 18GHz and upwards in metro areas. These will quite efficiently be attenuated by buildings etc.

The Radiated power from any of the following,
are fore sure higher and at a frequency that are less attenuated by buildings:

- Your microwave oven.
- The wireless LAN you or you neighbor are using.
- Your Mobile phone
- The nearest base station (Which I guess you do have on the roof too, if you have a microwave link)
- You wireless home phone (DECT or analogue)

Thank you for yor reply, Uno. It made me aware that the actual problem may be even more serious.
We do have more stuff on the roof and on the building which I have never been told by the owner of the house, and not being an expert at these, have never really known what they are there for. And talking about a detached house these are all within a few meters from the bedrooms:

- Two satellite dishes facing the same direction with lots of cabels coming out of them.
- An antenna that has the shape of two parallel semi-circles, on the top of the same pole and virtually at my bedroom window.
- A shoe box sized square box which I know sounds vague, but I cannot identify and is somehow in connection with all these.
- Two book sized and shaped "antennas" on the edge of the building on the outside corner of the living room.

We have cable tv, so they are highly unlikely for that.

Plus the equipment that I described in my previous post with an additional small sized modem in the hall and a cooling system that is very noisy.

Now I really have to investigate what all these are really for. And I feel like I'm living with a nuclear reactor in the house.

Personally I would be least concerned about the satellite dishes. The power coming into or out of these are usually quite low and output is narrow directed beam, as I wrote previously.

I would be most concerned about the "shoe box sized square box" and the "Two book sized and shaped "antennas"".
(My guess are that these are 3G or 4G antennas)
They are more likely to have higher output power and not being especially directed nor narrow beamed. But someone with more RF knowledge might have more information here.
I really do not like to have my bedroom near such installation.

Regarding the fan noise, I think that the AMM 2P can be mounted in an all outdoor cabinet. Or at least be replaced with other products that can.

Yes, It works;)
I enabled L2 switch and everything is ok
Thank You for help;)

But I have another problem:) I try to set a radio link for about 7km distance, I have CN500 and 0,6m antenna for both sides, freq is 18GHz, power output is set to 20. What signal strength I should have ? now i have about -72dB and what is better polarization V or H ? actually I work in V

I can not tell what input power to expect, you will need to do a link budget calculation.
Pathloss and TEMS-Linkplanner can for instance be used. There are a number of different factors that needs to be taken into consideration.
I take it that you have made sure to have free line sight and no buildings, trees or other object close to the beam trace.

V/H, I always mix them up, but I think it's H that is less attenuated by for instance rain.
(I never do RF planning)

Remember to also check the product specification to make sure that you have enough fade margins with respect to the BER thresholds. They are dependent of what RAU, Modem and modulation you choose.

thank You for help Uno. Today I tried to change antenna to smaller for compare signal (I thought that antenna i invalid) and now when I connecting cable to ODU two LED are burn (alarm, power) when i run mini link in Slot status master.1 in position state is inaccessible. I cleared reservatio, I restarted IDU few times, and RAU status show TX off and when i tried to click RAU2 in ALARM and Status it show me that RAU works in Repair mode. I don't know what is happen. I only replace antennas for a while, cable is ok, I tried on orginal from Ericsson and nothing, reset to default can't help. Any idea what can be wrong?

hi,

can some1 provide me with the LIST telnet commands used in Traffic node.
for fault testing,DCN checking and other activities.

Also can some1 provide me with the document of DCN connectivity, how DCN is implemented in Traffic node Environment

thanks.

Don't know.
Have you tried a factory cleanup followed by a power cycle?

Maybe a bit to quick written by me.
I don't have any CN500 to look at right now, and I don't remember all the differences between TN/CN.
If it behaves like the TN node, it should enter installation mode if BR-button pressed within 30 seconds after power on.(if it even have a BR-button).
In installation mode there should be a factory cleanup or similar available in tools menu.

Yes I have reset to default settings option when I press BR button for 30s, but this not resolve my problem. CN500 don't detect RAU and i don't know why. I called to ericsson support in my country, but they couldn't help me by phone so I must send units to warranty. Thank You for Help!
