Small earthquake hits Northern Virginia

A small earthquake shook the Washington area Tuesday, and some residents reported feeling tremors, the U.S. Geological Survey said. via WSLS

I live in Annandale, in the Camelot community. I am also a part-time teacher, so I was home when the tremor hit. I was taking a nap at 1:30pm, that day, with my earplugs on, and the tremor woke me up. All I knew was that it shook the whole house and it was loud, like, I hate to say it, a bomb! I looked out the window, thinking I'd see smoke, and hear sirens. All I saw was other confused neighbors running out of their houses, asking each other, "what was that?". I didn't know what to think, so the next thing I did was pray. ;)
