I still don't understand why this 5 year old child was in an area without parents.
This should be a wake-up call.

Signs pointing to mountain lion in attack on boy
It now appears the little boy mauled in the Sandia Mountains on Saturday was attacked by a mountain lion although game officers still aren't totally sure.
