The sun shines on both the good and the not so good, give these folks a break, and then take a good look at yourself. Something like this could happen to you too!
Maybe you didn't hear see the sarcasm in my statement, it is hard to put across in a post sometimes.

You don´t understand do you? Puerto Rico enjoys all US Federal Benefits, Programs etc. but do not pay one cent in US Federal Income Taxes. For that reason, Thank God, they are not allowed to vote in US elections. Why do more than half of the Puerto Ricans reside in the United States proper.
When Puerto Ricans reside in the US we pay Federal Taxes and Vote in US elections. Pueto Rico is a strategic location for the US Navy, that's why Spain fought for it, that's why Spain got kicked out. Puerto Ricans never liked the Spanish, so they helped the US soldiers kick their buts back to Spain! Now Spanish tourists can come here with their visas and visit and see how well we're doing as an associated state of the US. They gotta convert their Euros first though...

Haven't seen much folks posting from the Caribbean. I'm felt the quake in StVincent..
I'm on the third floor and the building starts rocking like a boat for what seemed like 5 minutes. I just stood up kind of amazed and its my first experience so I just looked at the walls shaking and stuff.
A lot of the other workers panicked and ran outside and one coworker starts bawling for her son cause both phone networks got knocked out briefly I think. No one got hurt though but lot of goods in the supermarkets fell off the shelf and people who panicked and ran out of the supermarkets with their groceries unpaid for got away...lol.
Overall it was a good first experience although a little frightening...I just wished people were more trained as to what to do in the event of earthquakes but hey...our blessed island hasn't even had a major hurricane in a very long time and well everyone thinks the volcano is gonna blow but I'm not too sure.
Anyways man just thought I'd tell of my experience and for all making stupid jokes this is serious. You could all make dumb comments until something falls on your heads (or one of your family).
Take care and God bless.
Nice to hear from somebody in St. Vincent, and that everythings okay there. Whenever I hear of anything happening in the Caribbean, the first thing I think is how did it affect St. Vincent and the Grenadines! We never get news of you folks here in the states.

See my picture there? Admiralty Bay in Bequia.:-)
