As what is your suggestion for those that don't believe in Christ? Ram that down their throats, too?
Ramming it down their throat? That is mild. People have been burned at the stake for not believing

Teachers all over the state realize that SB5 is hurtful to the middle class. My salary as a teacher barely qualifies me for middle class. I don't consider $70,000 with 28 years experience and some graduate school too high at all to earn. There are people out there who would laugh at $70,000 because it isn't enough. There are plenty of business people who think nothing of that sum of money.
I realize that all of us are accused of not pulling our fair share, that we only work seven or eight hours a day and have summers off....I know plenty of us who live in diggs better than President Obama has! And the fact that EVERYBODY loves us....I know I look forward to those questioning calls as to why I "gave" an "F" to your child (the one who never comes to school daily and whose behavior messes up the learning for everyone else on the one day he is there).
We won't accept a paycut, but we have enough sense to know that not seeing a raise or a cut in what we already have is surely a lot better than having nothing at all. Besides, we have to teach the God-lovers, the God-haters, the straights, the gays, the gender-neutral, the Democrats, the Independents and the Republicans.
