I have been watching GTA 4 being played. It's just as ridiculous, and just as entertaining, as all previous iterations of the title.

Hillary ought to find something a little more suited to her intelligence to worry about: this is reactionary thinking on her part at it's finest.

Anyone who thinks the average kid is going to go out and commit mayhem because of the crimes depicted in the game ought to gives kids a little more credit: they don't all have reality contact problems.

And quit listening to the psychology pundits. There is no empirical evidence that games of this nature cause crime sprees.

Ditto for MADD. Carry their logic to the extreme and we might as well reinstitute prohibition.

In any case, why haven't they considered that showing kids how difficult it is to control a virtual car while virtually drunk might just be INSTRUCTIVE?

Grow up and find something relevant to itch about. IT'S JUST A STUPID GAME that makes a lot of money for Take - Two.

About the "virtual drunk driving".
I've been playing GTA4 since it was released(yep, waited in line for midnight). The drunk driving is interesting. You can't control the vehicle and as SOON as you get in the car drunk and on the road the cops start chasing you and arrest you. Personally, I think that's a good thing to teach kids playing it - drink and drive and you get arrested. Now if cops would actually enforce that, it'd be great, too many people get away with drunk driving.

And as the cops chase you, the player can fire at and kill the cops. That is a good lesson to teach as well? The game teaches the gangsta life style. Kids try to emulate this on the real streets and find out there is no reset button. No starting over. Sh*t like this should be banned.

Now let me hear all the freaks addicted to GTA come defend it. Get a life, morons. Get off the game system and into the real world.

That's hilarious, you think people that play the game should get "into the real world". This coming from a man that goes by "Arthur Fonzarelli", guess what, this isn't Happy Days.

In reality, people know the difference between a game and reality, never have I heard of a single kid trying to emulate GTA or it's sequels. And quite honestly, if you have a kid that can't tell the difference of reality and game, they have more problems than anything a game would give them. Try not letting a t.v. or game console be the babysitter, it's more about bad parenting than anything else.

Young kids shouldn't play this game, not at all(between the language, violence and sexual situations), but there's nothing wrong with adults or mature teens that know the difference between game and reality playing it.
