Microsoft is again shilling its technology out to the masses, but this time offering up its car infotainment system, better known as SYNC , to the Hyundai-Kia Auto Group. via Jalopnik

Most of the Hyundai's here are built in the U.S. Hyundai Alabama and the new Kia plant in Georgia.

Ford bought the technology from Microsoft and doesn't have exclusive rights, so I expect they will be marketing it to competitors who want the technology as well.

Everyone I know with a Hyundai hates it. The only lady I know with a kia (minivan) has had it back to the shop to have the brakes replaced 4 times in 30k miles.

Hyundais are half-assed crap, they have NO POTENTIAL. As something to live with everyday I would rather be a vegtable.

Hyundai has their place in the market. Their sales and quality improvements over the past five years prove that. Their vehicles don't interest me, but for those on a budget they do have some offerings.
