IT'S LEGAL FOR CERTAIN PEOPLE (GUARDIANS AND ATTORNEYS) TO ESSENTIALLY STEAL YOUR MONY IN GUARDIANSHIP. THEY ARE LOOTING ESTATES LIKE WILDFIRE AND NO ONE IS STOPPING IT. THE STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS ARE FULLY AWARE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING BUT NO ONE WILL ACT

Our dad was (premeditated) prematurely sent to his grave; do I need to explain why?
Simple incarcerate, medicate, liquidate and euthanize apparently is a common practice for elder care, especially is there is a large estate involved.
Elder care facilities are a business to generate money, period. And we, who live in a “me society” and a “throw away society” feed these facilities with our loved ones!
The best way to generate the most profit in any business is to have very little cost.(dah!)
Sure some of these facilities may appear to “look like a plush hotel”…but I challenge our law makers, state inspectors and enforcers to spend 2 hours in the “plush lobby” and just observe how our elders are being “cared for”… then eat (or try to eat) just one meal in the “non quest dinning room”(where our elders eat when we are not visiting)...IT”S ALL A SHOW…
In fact employees are rewarded for cutting cost; I just read about a facility that cut the resident’s meals cost down to 75 cents per meal and then a lavished employee/company party was held to celebrate…!!!!
Prisoners in our jail systems receive much better accommodations and care. Our public schools have banned white bread and process foods, but there are no regulations for our elders’ nutrition in these facilities?
The system needs to change to protect our elders all across the U.S.
Laws are written to do so, but ignored and disrespected. Truth is over looked (conveniently) and/or buried with our elders.
Guardians, lawyers, doctors, facilities and the systems all have their greedy paws on the wards assets long before the “plan is put into action” when there are assets to be had.
Our mom has now become victim #2 (same guardian of course, regardless of the many attempts proven in the court of law, as wrong doings)…. and by mom being an elder and the beneficiary of a multi million dollar estate, her life is now in the hands of these very same players, who have taken our father’s life and their “not so fare share” of his money!
Surreal and Incomprehensible this could even happen once, but twice within the same family and system? There is no justice; money, politics and power (aka city hall) will always win until there is a drastic change in our system across the U.S. to actually “protect” our elders instead of “victimizing” them!

Durable Power of Attorney is the equivalent of toilet paper in the Probate Court, known as the "Candy Store" to probate insiders. A common end to the so called "guardianship", actually it's "ownership" is the (deliberate_ when assets are gone), dehydration & starvation of the elder, which is called "a natural death by old age". My mother's lasted 5 yrs. til the the above described end. As an American, it was an unimaginable experience. Then again look at the profiteers: corporate nursing facility chains, pharmaceutical industry, mortgage/real estate insiders, BAR Assoc., et al. Once you do in depth research on the scheme, it's easy to see why laws are not enforced & no end is in sight.
I am so sorry for your loss and to hear of such a simular experience, we should talk...

I just discovered this forum for a news story that appears to have been done in Oct. '12, but I'm unable to view the full article. I have a very serious interest since my mother was, I believe, a victim of Supportive Community Services until she passed away Dec. 26, 2011. I would appreciate any update or access to information. Thank you.
