Ban 'Second Life' in schools, libraries?

Why are you worried about Second life you have to pay for that and kids would rather spend that money esle where. Myspace is more of a threat than Second life. Hell or even IMVU, sites like that are more for main streamers which most teens can't stand they want their own place away from anything adult, which Second life is more in tuned with, but hey predators will track youth down wherever they go to hang out. Once again someone wants to put a band-aid on a huge open bleeding wound.

Why not simply "pull the plug" on the InterNet? that way, School/Library Staff don't have to put in "triple overtime" policing content and the computers would be available for their ORIGINAL function---research!

I'd rather my child use the library for what it is meants for. With Second Life on their school computers, why would they want to study? They can play games at home, where I can supervise what they are playing.
