I'm glad they found something to charge her with. I thought they might actually be able to charge her with Megans death, but, the "fraud charges" will have to do.

It's sad that adults had to stoop to this level. After reading this story, I can see why so many of todays youths are taking the wrong path. With parents like Drew, I have seen the light

It's about time that someone held this woman accountable for her actions. As adults and parents, we are responsible for the care and nurturing of our children and those of others. It is a tragedy that an adult would prey on a child and their emotional state and not be held accountable. Kudos to the LA Prosecutors!!!

Yes it's so much easier to blame Myspace instead of the woman. For all Myspace knew her bullying could've been an inside joke.

You can only wonder what other values this woman has passed on to her daughter.

I'm happy that got her for SOMETHING, but the poor girl is still dead.

If it were the fault of Myspace... then it would also be the fault of the manufacturer of the poor girls computer, the ISP and the manufacturer of the rope she used.

I also am glad that this woman will be held accountable. But why not at least manslaughter charges?

I mean, what was she thinking? Doesn't sound like much of any joking was done, like the woman is trying to make it look like. She is sick, sick, sick, sick.

Myspace and her parents for starters! How gullible can you be?
If you believe what you see and read on the internet and take it to heart and fall in love with someone or something then you need to post all of your personal info so some internet phony or predator can take advantage of you. Sure glad the prom king didn't scam this girl or her family maybe it would of been a triple suicide.
How many perverts and child predators are using Myspace? So get a clue.
The girl had emotional problems before this event.
The parents have stated on the local St. Louis news they want revenge at ANY cost.

Perhaps they should charge her with assisted suicide. I have NO pity for someone who takes their own life. There are way too many dying people laying hospital beds right now that would switch problems with her. What was she thinking? Sad!

The woman, Lori Drew, knew that Megan had emotional problems. She knew that what she was doing would cause damage and she just didn't care. She was an adult doing this to a child and this is just wrong.

Well it sounds like she could get about 20 years for it. Personally I say throw away the key and take away her kids. She's not fit to be a parent.
What an evil, evil woman. The world would be better off without HER.

If you have no pity for a 13 y/o girl who kills herself, then you're obviously not a parent.

This was not the fault of Myspace. Lori Drew, a grown woman, used Myspace to harass a 13 y/o girl. At the very least, her actions are despicable; at worst, they directly contributed to Megan's death.

Who can blame the parents for wanting revenge? I'm glad she's been indicted, and I say throw the book at her.

This is a tragic story! A mother preying on a 13 year old child with mental problems...that's messed up! I'm glad the LA Prosecuters were able to put her behind bars where she belongs.
