AVX chairman resigns

Dick Rosen has resigned as chairman of AVX Corp.'s board of directors, according to a regulatory filing this week.

By the way you will not see AVX employees posting for fear of Gilbertson terminating them or should i say having them terminated; he could not look in them eye to do that.

I wonder how many millions of dollars he'll take with him? I worked there a LONG time ago and the employees remaining there need to go ahead and find other jobs. AVX is going down the tubes.

AVX acquired another computer chip manufacturer named ATC (and competitor). ATC's stock traded as high as $53.75 at the height of the tech stock boom in 2000. But until Monday, its highest stock price since 2000 had been $20.41 in January. AVX dragged that company down and their stock, too.

Very soon, there will be NO employees to terminate. Kyocera will drop them like a hot potato. All of AVX's technology was provided to Malaysia and the technology is being duplicated on AVX cloned production lines.
