Talk about a hero. The explosion happens fast and trauma protects some from the pain. But soon after all the pain hits big time. And the pain of all those operations plus the pain learning to use prosthetic devices. He's young. He can do it now. But after the cheers and years, the phantom pain continues. All those prosthetics need adjustment. And they get much harder to use with age. The spirit is great.
