Greater email privacy won't hinder law enforcement
A Senate bill to protect the privacy of electronic communications won't keep federal agents from combing through your inbox if they believe a crime has been committed, legal experts say.

This is gonna lead to a boon for the erase, scrub, santitize, clean hard drive device makers and sellers. Everyone should be prepared anyway, especially if others ever have access to your computer.
Of course you can always take your hard drive out and destroy it. Drive eRazer(sp) does a pretty fair job of getting at those hidden spots on the drive. Couple hundred dollars for top model.
