To link Jim Norwood to principles held by the incumbent in an out-of-context quote is questionable reporting, at best. The closing statement is dismissive and comes across as politically polarized. I know this outlet may not abide by any sort of 'fair and balanced' clause, but you should certainly try.

Glad to hear dorrier will not be returning, he always was a boyd copycat with no vote of his own.

I find it very ironic that Norwood declared bankruptcy but stands by fiscal values. Basic math with tell you you are spending more than you should. Obviously he doesn't know when to cut his losses which makes me question his judgment.

Wow. Even with con. Hurt, the only people I saw in the restaurant were the employees that had to be there. That guy has not made a lot of friends in Scottsville, and conducted himself extremely poorly in town. And I wish the media would so some due diligence reporting on Norwood's recent bankruptcy, which left all kinds of businesses in town holding bills that Norwood never paid. If he can't manage his own finances I don't want him managing the county budget.

I will not take a stand for a specific political party affilation because I have lost faith in both. But what I will say is simply this: Use all means possible to update ourselves on the important issues effecting our nation and home grounds, specifically our families, friends, other associates we may know and care about. Think about what is happening across our nation and C'ville? What has been allowed to continued for many years at all levels of government? We no longer need public representatives with personal interest or agenda. We no longer need those who can be bought and paid for by big money or political interest. We do not need those who must hide or manipulate the exposure of negative personal actions. We do need those with integerity, selfless interest, and core value for those they will represent.

Mr. Dumler missed almost 60% of his Region Ten board meetings in 2011 alone, and was absent at 40% of his overall meetings.

What does this tell us about his commitment and ability to serve his community?

Mr. Dumler is an officer in the Army reserves and a volunteer fire-fighter. He has the proud endorsement of the police benevolent association, and despite missing a few meetings, he has done an excellent job managing the 30 mil region ten budget. They have been able to maintain services, employment, and a rainy day fund in this tough economic environment. Nice try, though, Pravda.

the proof is in the pudding. Years of community and military service and successful management of a 30 mil budget, versus Mr. Noorwood, who DID NOT even disclose his recent bankruptcy, which left businesses and creditors unpaid while Mr. Noorwood kept his yacht and vacation properties.
