It's great that they're going to put a store in there, but I think Target sucks.

Really? Why? I'm not a huge Target shopper but curious as to what you don't like?

They do have brand name stuff, just not enough of it. You don't get many choices. I'm a big fan of shoes and purses, yet I can never find anything I like at Target. Maybe the one they put in Lowell will have more stuff than the one in Woburn.

This is great news. Now if the one in tax free Nashua suddenly stops existing, then I will have another one to shop at.

Yeah well she'll argue the $10 she'll save in gas can then be spent at a "must have" at Target so they'll be no savings during that shopping trip in my house!

This city doesn't need another dept store, what this city needs is more business downtown.A strip joint is a gold mine waiting to happen. It would bring in tons of $$$$ and there are a lot of hot girls in the Lowell area who I bet could use the extra $$$$.I don't want to hear how a strip joint will bring trouble.I bet there are more fights at the Shamrock or the Brewery and more drugs being sold in the bathroom than at the Blue Moon.Build it and they will come.

Target- perfect now there a competetion among Wal-Mart in Drum Hill. Target I perfer to call it TAR-GA. Cant wait for Target to come now the city youth can get a job there. Parent dont have to drive to Nashua or Woburn to shop. The idea is good on paper, look what happen to Hannaford left to Tweksbury and now the Highland community have to go to Drumhill or Chelmsford just for food I call that the POOR TAX

A strip joint in a school zone, eh? Good luck with that one!

I was with you 100% until you had to bring up a "poor tax" stop playing monopoly. People can go wherever they want to go food shopping, not to mention the super wal-marts, BJ's, Sam's etc. Target or Tar-ga or Tarshay will open up a slew of jobs for people in the city and that's always a good thing!

Target would bring some life into the plaza. When Hannaford was there the plaza looked quite busy. Right now Chuck E. Cheese and China Buffet are the only two businesses that have customers. At least for me those are the only two places that I would go to.

The LRTA runs bus service to that plaza, so people who don't have a car, or don't want to use expensive gasoline will have a place to shop. This is a good thing for the city

I am excited for it. I like Target better than walmart and Target is a great place to get last minute gifts for people without having to drive to Nashua.. lol They have decent clothes, the make-up is affordable, along with the baby things. :) I think my daughter has just about every outfit a 2 yr old can have from that store. lol, it seemed to be a big hit for everyone to shop at.
