FYE was an overpriced, over-hyped store and it's past time it went under.

What took so long? I was never a fan of them or their high-priced items. I couldn't believe Circuit City went out of business before they did.

I love how people complain about the "high prices" they wern't higher than anywhere else that sold electroncs, DVDs and CDs.

News flash - electronics are expensive if you cant afford them, don't buy them.

You can EASILY find CDs and DVDs for lower prices than FYE. Especially CDs. Just don't go to Borders.

Oooo....maybe they should get some TARP money...NOT! If a company can't compete and manage/market their stores well, then they deserve to go out of business. The economy is not getting better. They just want the dumb suckers to go out and blow all their money on Christmas. Obama wants us all broke so he can push his Socialism on us.

Bout time. The store is pointless when you have bestbuy to buy cd's or local record stores. Who is going to pay 20 bucks a cd at fye? Their nothing but garbage and cant wait to see what they replace the space with in the future..

yes i agree ... they are free on the internet

but if you go to any store new CDs are gonna b $10-$20 depending on who the artist is and and new DVDs will be like $15-$25 depending on the release date.

its not like FYE was charging twice that.

Good - this store is lousy. Everything is overpriced, and you can never find what you are looking for. I'm sure Eastview can find another tenant to occupy the space.

YES! That's exactly what Obama had in mind when running for president. He's trying to force you to spend all your money at FYE on Christmas presents so you can go on welfare. It's a secret ploy to push his "Socialism."

FYI: no-one really cares about FYE.

But I hope Eastview stays open as its a good place to cut through when shopping, otherwise you'd have to walk all around.

Lets see I can go to the mall fight for parking get bumped by the idiots walking through the place on their cell phones not paying attention since they think they are the only person in the world. Deal with underpaid rude sales help or just click buy and download on the computer. Boy thats a tough choice, Think I'll head over to FTE... NOT

I think most stores are going to limp through this holiday sales period. There will be more closings thanks to the horrible economy and huge unemployment rate. Can someone tell me how Borders and Barnes & Noble stay in business? Books are MUCH cheaper online.
Too Many

Stores are hurting, cause there is too many stores.

I wish that many of them close, like Sears/K-mart, Macy's, and Wegmans.

FDR was accused of being a socialist as well, and he not only got us out of the Depression he was elected THREE TIMES.

So go flush your Republican scare tactics (and your Fox News network) down the toilet where they belong. We are sick of listening to you.

Because they both have online sales site? And they both plug used books as cheaper prices?(was this a trick question?)

Plus by shopping online and especially at the used book sites, you are free to search for and buy what you like, not what Corporate America tells you you *should" like.
