Great story..he could be caught by a professional dog catcher obviously..without tranquilizers or traps. Its done all the time to stray dogs. I think the powers that be..have determined he is no threat and well taken care of and protected and has no complaints from any citizens. Its a case of letting Max be a stray dog...in a controlled environment around this area. I'm for it as long as its taken care of and protected and is no threat to anyone or other dog. Let him enjoy his freedom. I love it. Go Max! Run..have fun.

Thanks Charleston Times Courier for bringing this to our attention. Its a great story. U should run more like this. Positive stories. Less negitive news..unless its about former corrupt CPD officers like John Blevins and Mark Heiss. U should expose more local police corruption stoties..and also great stories like this one. Thanks.

LOL..true. That's funny. I hear dog ain't bad if u cook them correctly..LOL is that WRONG? we eat baby lambs(veal)..is that right? Little. Cute baby lambs never hurt anyone..LOL. Mary had a little Lamb..and I ate it! Funny? Double standard??

Is it fair my dog is required to be on a leash in public but this stray large breed dog can roam about around Lincoln Ave..in a high traffic area? Around children and elderly. Lol

Is that fair to my dog? CPD better never even think of giving me a ticket for my dog on no leash or my dog shitting on public property! No LOL I might take that to trial...Brian Bower.

...this dog breaks both city ordinances and the county dog catcher allows Max to do it..but not my dog..its that fair? Is this corruption of a city ordinance? Is this dog catcher correct for allowing a double standard with this stray large dog?

Just saying...LOL

That stray dog should be jailed or they should let mine run around by Lincoln Ave or wherever i choose..and in any place in public off his leash. Around babies and small children and the eldlery. LOL

And be allowed to shit n piss wherever he wants without me fearing a 750 fine from the city. Especially in the new small park on Charlestons square by Rocs. Damn. Right?

Fair for all..Or nothing at all. Am I wrong?
