First of, immigrants don't vote. They can't vote, only legal citizens can vote.

What these wack-job immigrant-rights activists groups like La Raza, Hermandad Mexicana Americana,... don't realize is that they have to lend a helping hand in cleaning up the mess that their own tribe has created: very high crime rate among Latinos, illegal alien gangs, our dismal public school system which is overrun by kids of illegal alien parents who don't or don't wish to learn to speak English,.... Unless they lend a helping hand, my arms are folded, my mind is closed, I don't wanna hear from them.

These activist groups just want a flat-out immigration reform which, as we all know, is a codename for amnesty. No penalties, no consequences, no "path to legalization". Just flat-out amnesty. No, no, no. We are a nation of laws. This country is NOT like Mexico, where the law is often not enforced and corruption is so rampant. Here's the thing, let's force our gov't to build the double-fence along the border first, and then we'll consider what to give to the illegal aliens (or, to be politically correct like Tony Villar, undocumented immigrants)that are already here. Enforcement must come first before a guest-worker program or even amnesty. If we give amnesty first, more illiterate peasants from Mexico are gonna come here for the next round of amnesty, drying up the job market for legal citizens, destroying our school system even further, our health care system, more gang members on the streets, you name it. What side effects did the 1986 amnesty create?

Hey Gaser

Some of us White women have pride in out race, our culture and history.

The women you speak of lack pride and self esteem. Are they the only ones you can get?

I LOVE White men. Real men. The best this planet has produced and will ever produce.

Why do they march?
Because they are in the United States of America and because this country, unlike Mexico, will not put their asses in jail. Non-citizens, legal or otherwise, are not permitted to speak up or protest against the Mexican Government(part of the Mexican Constitution)

Granted, I just wonder, who did you vote for president? Was it Hillary? Was it your homeboy John McCain? Did any of your white male honkies vote for McCain? If so, you white folks are some of the most gullible idiots around, because both of them are pro-illegal alien, pro-amnesty. McCain again interjected the term "immigration reform" during his speech just a few days ago. If either of them starts pushing for amnesty, you krautheads are largely to blame.

Don't blame me - this Irish/Italian girl voted for Ron Paul in 2008.

Hillary is a thief. McCain is a warmonger. And Obama is anti White racist. All 3 are for amnesty or immigration reform

I just can't figure out the attraction to this racist Obama. Do Americans really know what they are voting for, what they are doing??. Can anyone see what will happen with the Muslim influence in this country??. Can anyone see that Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson,(Black Power guy) Louis Farrakhan all will be in the Whitehouse, running the country. I DID vote for Hilliary Clinton to hopefully help her pull out Texas ahead of Obama. McCain already had it locked up. But then McCain presents another problem for me. He see's nothing wrong in continuing (Bush's) course in Iraq, "maybe we have to stay 50 or 100 years, that's okay". And then he was "in bed" with that drunken idiot Ted Kennedy to give amnesty to 10-20 million Illegals, worker permits and a "clear path to citizenship". Ron Paul is really not even there anymore. So what choices do we have this time?? Hilliary Clinton is really the lesser of all the "evils" when it comes right down to it. And I believe that she will bring our troops home from Iraq.

Where did Obama come from? 16 months ago no one knew of him. Where did he get so much money? I can picture Jesse Jackson as Secretary of the Interior...

Yes - McCain is a warmonger. He will continue the wars. But here in AZ he has ties to Mafia families. It's also been alleged he was a collaborator while imprisoned in Viet Nam and the "war hero" image is a farce...

Hillary is a thief and a liar who will do ANYTHING to get elected.

I don't even think this war is being fought for American interests. It's being fought for control of oil and because of pressure from Isreali lobby AIPAC

So whoever wins is academic. The American taxpayer will LOSE no matter who wins

They march on May Day, because they support the communism(progressive, liberal)agenda that the day represents.

"In 1889 the International Socialist Congress designated May 1 as a day in support of workers"

Number one reason is because you don't have a job, just like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson

No! The reason you march on May First is that you are Marxists and you are merely observing the great international communist "workers'" holiday.

"Fully one-third of California voters by 2012 will be immigrant voters _ naturalized U.S. citizens and permanent residents eligible for citizenship _ and their teenage U.S.-born children."
And this guy goes on to write of the need for "civic education". I think our hispanic political genius needs some civics education. Since when did non citizens admit to voting in our elections?
Maybe one day he and his ilk will reclaim all of this land for Mexico; the result will be a political, social, and economic wasteland of biblical extremity. But there will be no land of opportunity for Mexicans and other Latinos to run to when times get particularly bad. It would almost be worth seeing just to be able to laugh at all of the Mexican-Ameicans who thought they would be accepted by their Hispanic brothers once they delivered the southwestern USA from anglo "oppression".

If you want to march on saturday or sunday fine. You want to march during the work week. This is to cause fincial loss to local business cause traffic jams to help their cause. You talk to any body in the traffic jam they do not support your cause. The fact is business in Los Angeles should sue the people behind this and collect their losses. We spend nine billion dollars a year on undocumented people in California. That is not enough for them they want to cost us more and they did. i use to say if Washington DC want them they need to pay for them. Now we do not have enough water, electricity in going to cost billion more it cheaper to send them back to their homelands.

That's the main reason. Nothing better to do, nothing to lose by going (like a day of work). Many of the protestors are students majoring in radical Aztlan studies and for them there are no worries over finals, and their radical marxist professors will give them extra credit for not showing up to class in order to protest on Communist Labor Day.

Actually, they can and they do ... With the same forged paperwork and stolen identities that they used to get employment.

Anyone who has been to an El Paso area voting station knows how easy it is for them to vote in our elections. They require no voting card, nothing to prove citizenship at all. They even provide them ballots in their own language, which obviously invites much fraud.

They may not be allowed to vote but you can bet you a** they are. We have done away with any verification that you have the Right to register, to vote or prove you are who you say you are. We should to have to prove we have the Right to vote before we can register then show valid ID before we get out ballot. How do we weed out illegal voter if we don't.

Just got back from checking out the action downtown and McArthur Park....IT IS A FLOP!!!! I don't think there were more than 1000 protesters in one given place. Some of the key locations had less than 100 protestors. Everyone was bored! What a waste of taxpayer money!!!
Observations: There were far, far more Mexican flags than American flags! Lots of serapes and sombreros. My (white) friend and I received a lot of menacing looks from most of the protestors...if there had not been such a huge police force presence, we would have NEVER walked through the crowd! These people are DEFINITELY anti-American agitators! There was a militant atmosphere and I know that they were disappointed because there were no antagonists...they were just itching for a fight!
I'm going to take another shower now...just being around the vermin makes my skin crawl! These ungrateful, demanding, arrogant, wretched third worlders are the last people on earth that I would allow to stay in this country! They are completely undeserving, ungrateful, and should be deported TODAY! The US has lost it's mind and it's pride! They are NOT "immigrants"...they are criminal illegal aliens who belong in jail for breaking our laws and sucking off of taxpayer funds. They make me sick, sick, SICK!
Tell that to KTLA, or any other area television newscasts..........They all treat this 'marching' as a festival of some sort...

And is anyone surprised that a big riot took place just days later in an LA high school with Mexican kids beating on black Americans?

The anti-American racism is being stirred up by these Mexican protests, there is an extremely racist tone in their protests. Lots of hatred against Americans of all kinds.
