Missing Roadhouse Grill
|
I used to go to the Deerfield and Coral Springs locations and certainly I will miss that hot bread they used to serve as well as the salads. It was a nice place to have lunch or dinner and also a nice place to watch any sports.

Barrel that is an exact copy they still throw the peanut shells on the floor,so we won't miss them..the nearest Roadhouse was in Ocala did love their hot rolls and the house salad dressing, but can get them at Logan's anyone who dined at the one on Commercial at the I C Waterway has missed them, long ago that was Stan's Lounge... Loved the one on the ICW. Ocala was a little weak. You knowing of Stan's shows your age! Just Kidding.

Yesterdays now Roadhouse
|
They had the best, freshest free peanuts and raised yeast rolls that Barnum and Bailey ever sold and grandma ever made, what a fun, affordable place to chow down, great food at affordable prices and yee haws you can only find in Texas...where there are other Roadhouses, but no match for what the guys tought up and reconded they'd get rich on.
But this is america, where only foreigners from asia and europe can afford to live.
Far from the caliber of Yesterdays with the miriade of romantic candles, but still a local tradition with flair and atmosphere you can not get at any large chain, with the exception of Macaroni Grill, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and Buca De Pepe's..all the others seem to have gone out of business or overcharge and underserve.
Shucks, they could pull out of BK by selling their recipes to their rolls.
Red Kerchief waving goodbye...doggone it, another night eating at home.

This place sucked. Over-priced for crappy food. I'm not surprised it went under. Even when they gave coupons, my bill still came out to over $30 and I left wondering what the hell I just paid for. One less rip-off.

Expansion is the killer. Greed also kills! Cost of food going up. There may be many more to follow...

Why do I have the funny feeling you tried to take SIX people out for the BIG 30 SPOT with a COUPON!!! Here's some advice for you...Whopper Jr.

This is sad. I used to eat at a local Roadhouse Grill on Okeechobee Blvd. when my brother and I shared an apartment. We had a good time there, and ate lots of good steak and stuff. It was indeed more affordable than a lot of places, and I liked how casual it was.

The should have merged with Outback Steakhouse. They could have called the new restaurants "Outhouse Grill".

Why bother, it's much easier to resort to a mantra. Your savior is about to be nominated. Have you prepared yourself for 4 more years of not being in the White House? HRC can win it, he cannot. But I'd rather you drink the koolaid than to try and reason.

Ask 10 people to name a restaurant chain that sells steaks and most will say Outback. Lack of advertising did them in.
