Been out of the Restaurant Management Field for a while would like to get back

Hello everyone... I have been out of the restaurant field for about 3 years. I have all of my experience in the fast food pizza business. I have several years experience as a General Manager as well as a District Manager of 8 stores or more. I left the field to try out the retail business and it was a dead end situation and a couple of years waste of time. I just received my Associate's Degree in Business Management. I thought I would go back and continue on and get my Bachelor's in Food Service Management. Some say I should go to culinary school. What do you think would be the best option, as I start applying to get back into the field? I am looking for all of your honest opinions. I am 43 yrs. old going back in. Thanks in advance for your help.
