At Blazin' Steaks you can feed 10 people the 1 Lb. plate and still have money left over by not having to pay that $25 tip.
Bring you meals home and you can get a couple of bottles of nice red wine to go with it!
Blazing Steaks is terrible! You might as well buy Beef Jerkey....

Why would you feed 10 people c-r-a-p? I'm sorry but I don't need to feed 10 people one plate, I'm not that desperate. Plus, I'd rather pay far more for a superior tasting steak with a nutty flavor, lots of marbling, and far more tender.

You can buy your dog-food looking Blazing Steaks.

Wolfgang Steakhouse in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center is very good. About $100 for a porterhouse that feeds two. They dry age their steak in house and it is delicious.
I certainly agree. Not something I could do every day, but the food was probably the best I ever had. On top of that was the wait-staff. Service so attentive and friendly I almost forgot I was in Hawaii. Also the high prices kept out the low-brows and riff-raff, if you know what I mean. I will definately try to make it there again.

Great that you enjoyed the rotten meat - which is exactly what aged beef is. I'll take a thick slab of juicy, bloody, fresh cut over rotten meat anyday.

Finally, an intelligent post. I totally agree with what you said. The general manager is very friendly. On our first visit, he took us on a tour of the dry-age room. About 1 month later, I returned for my second visit and the general manager remembered my name. I was very impressed. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive. This could be the best service I ever had in Hawaii.

Please research before you make absurd statements.

This was found on the internet, "The process of dry-aging usually also promotes growth of certain fungal (mold) species on the external surface of the meat. This doesn't cause spoilage, but actually forms an external "crust" on the meat's surface, which is trimmed off when the meat is prepared for cooking."

Notice, this process does not cause the meat to spoil!

It's good that you use an alias. Therefore no one will figure out what an idiot you are!

don't kid yourself about locals not coming into waikiki and spending large amounts of money... saying that you obviously haven't stepped into any of the semi-fine to fine dinning restaurants on waikiki beachwalk,. just because you are in a bad financial situation doesn't mean there are not 20 people with 100 bucks burning a hole in their pocket waiting at LEAST a half of an hour for table 7 days a week! however out of the beachwalk area is hit or miss towards how busy it really is... thank god that's NOT where i work =)

YARDHOUSE!! LATENITE sun-wed 10.30-cls
1/2 off most pupus and pizzas...
$4 pints and $6 dollar martintis

RUTH CHRIS!! power hour before 6
get a starter salad 11 oz fillet w/ 2 shrimp a side and desert for like 50$
best meal for the money!
