Let's flood the market with slot machines. Put them in the grocery stores and laundromats. Hell, let's put them in the school lunchrooms. The kids will be paying for their own education.

I HOPE THE PEOPLE THAT GAMBLE GET THE JOBS TO SUPPORT THERE HABITS....... IF YOU DONT GAMBLE YOU SHOULDNT BE ALOT TO WORK IN THE CASINO PERIOD.HOPE THE CASINOS GIVES ME A GOOD PAYING JOB.I ALWAYS LIVED ON LOW PAYING JOBS SINCE I WAS 18 NEVER OWNED A HOME OR WENT TO COLLEGE.I ALSO BELIEVE DRUGS SHOULD BE LEGAL IN OHIO AND PROSITUTION AND TAX IT AT 50%

Issue #3 carried because the casino people did their homework. They pushed in the two areas with the largest populations. They won the three largest counties, one in the cleveland area and two in the cinny area. If these 3 counties had voted 51% to 49% infavor of the casinos instead of 59% to 41% the issue would have failed. Give the casino owners credit they were smarter then the voters. Now we have to live with this vote, the only hope we have is that legislators are as smart as the casino owners and pass legislation that will regulate these casinos and get us our fair share of the tax money not 33% which is the lowest tax rate in the U.S.

Just to further prove that he's a loser he ran away from the arguement once I put him in his place. |

Unfortunately they are not slots. Nor are they VLT's. They are just computers with gaming software. Big difference. |
the question i have is,(i assume these "sweepstake drawings" are national):
1) are the odds based on how many are playing? 2) are the odds better, worse or same as slots? 3) is there just one "winner" per "drawing" or are there multiple smaller winners too?? |
| ||||
Rob - There is no sweepstake drawing. |
if you read the article you would see that it is run over the internet as a "sweepstakes" drawling and the winner is predetermined before you even spin the reels. |
OHIO needs to get behind this machines it is only fair that small business finds other from of income such as sweepstake machines
BOTTOM LINE HELP SMALL BUSINESS HELP OHIO DONT FORGET YOUR BACKBONE OF THE STATE |

10991 national road Etna, ohio (pastaskla) open 7 days a week monday thru thursday 11-11pm friday and saturday 11-midnight sunday 11-8 pm |
Joseph - Are you positive that they are deemed slots? Seeing as how slots are illegal in Ohio. |
skill games not a slot machine but lot's of fun!! check it out. i've been there 3-4 times at least |
I have played many "skill game machines". They are Ok for pure entertainment, but don't expect to win much. |
Skill Games With Prizes : The skill games exploit a loophole in state law by relying partly on player skill, thereby getting around the ban on purely chancebased games such as slot machines. Although lawmakers banned cash payouts in 2007 in an attempt to regulate the skill machines out of business, hundreds remain in operation
