No, it ain't.
Any idea where all those blue collar jobs went?
And why?
Did the Unions, illegal immigration, or global warming alarmism have anything to do with those jobs going away?
Did the Republicans have anything to do with any (or all) of the above?
I'm not a Republican nor a Democrat I was thrown out of one with my conservative views but do not fit into the Republican party either.. I am not anti union.. I am however anti union running this country, buying the president and all his merry men.. Bullying those that who speak out against Obama.. Unions spent how much in the last election? one in particular SEIU one of the largest or trying to be the largest union.. and while the union leaders were supporting Obama the MEMBERS were of a different mind.. I know many union members who got off work on Friday and drove all the way to Washington to march on 9/12.. the real problem with the blue collar workers is all the EPA restrictions they are pushing.. companies can not afford the things they are demanding they do.. are we any safer.. NO.. but we do have less jobs, and until the rouge agency is stopped we will be in the debt of other countries for our existence.. I am not saying to allow everyone do as they please to the environment.. I am saying they need to ease up.. they are the reason we have no new refineries in this country.. do you realize the good paying jobs they create? and that's just one type of company.. they did and are doing it to ALL our companies.. now the only jobs we have are fast food and sales.. and the Democrats and Republicans like it that way.. the Republicans didn't do much to help new start ups.. they did however sign MORE so called FREE TRADE treaties..

Excuse me MY FRIENDS were at that march and sad for you THEY ARE DEMOCRATS so before you open your mouth at something you no not what you are speaking of.. better make sure your assumptions are correct.. and they went with about 5 car loads of DEMOCRATS.. I will guarantee they were NOT the only DEMOCRATS there..should we mark a "D" in their foreheads so the loony left can identify their own? Recently on the news it was reported that if Obama's healthcare plan passed. There would be cuts in medicare (elderly). Hmmm, now why is that?
Many hospitals write off debts each year in the millions of dollars. Because people who can't pay, to those who won't pay but could. The government pays a smaller amount of the fees charged. That leaves the rest of us to pay the rest via our insurance or out of pocket. Kinda see a pattern here.
The elderly who are on a fixed income. Then won't be able to afford their medicines, or care. Hence the government will pay physicans to discuss end of life choices. Why is that?
Many have what is known as living wills and advance directives. Does this mean the elderly or others who have one, won't be able to revoke the advance directive? Again hmmmm!
The government will have access to your bank account. For deposits and withdraws. The later brothers me.
Rural hospitals that care for the elderly/others could see cuts from the government(medicaid and medicare). Will they recieve a bailout? Before they have to close their doors. Don't think so.
Obama and Congress has opened Pandora's box of healthcare. It doesn't look good for any of the taxpayers. After all we all get old or have multiple healthcare issues. Where will that leave us?
Yes healthcare needs reforming. Here are a few ideas.
1. Cap lawsuits nation wide.
2. Stop lawsuits which are frivolous.
3. Get those who can but don't, to pay their bills.
4. Get the high paid CEO's and other to take lower
pay. Sure that won't happen.
5. Give people an incentive to be healthy. Instead
of paying for unhealthy individuals.
6. Have lawmakers have the same healthcare plan as
we the taxpayers.
7. Deport in haste all illegal aliens.
8. Give us a healthcare plan now not in 2012!
Just a few thoughts for all to ponder on.
I have been in the healthcare field since the 70's.
We have been advocates for our patients during that time. If any have ever dealt with the governmet. Do you really want them telling you what healthcare you can and cannot have?

Exactly.. there are many things I want ( or think I do anyway) but I have what I NEED something many even adults haven't figured out.. it's a shame when I see someone paying for their food with a link card and they are eating, steak and junk food talking on a cell phone and walking out and putting those groceries in a NEW car while others I know are wondering how to make their pay checks last cause oh ya they paid their bills (healthcare included).. whenever I get the chance and I know a family or person who is doing the right thing but not having any extra's I share mine.. be it food or a television.. it doesn't matter I waste nothing.. for years we had a monster television weighted a lot..whenever someone I knew had their television break down I gave them that one.. it seems that when they got a replacement they would return mine.. it had at least 20 temporary homes..and was over 30 years old when we finally gave it away for the last time.. People today just toss things out and replace them every time these Big Businesses decide they need to make more money and upgrade their electronics making the previous electronics unusable.. and then we hear about how WE are wasteful..and need to recycle..
In 1993, I bought a new sofa after doing without for many years; this was during the 1993 flood of the Mississippi.
I wanted to donate my old sofa for a family who was wiped out by the flood and had no insurance; of course they were going to be declared a disaster area and receive federal fund. The charitable organization I called about my donation told me they would not take my sofa because it had a worn spot (they asked if there were any worn spots and I said yes) and people did not want things thay showed any wear. I said "what" people who have lost everything and have no insurance expect the taxpayer to buy them new furniture while the rest of us must save to buy ours.
This told me a lot about people in need as well as charitable organizations.

Only 17% of doctors belong to the AMA so they aren't revelant..the health care systems are making big dollars for there stock holders as do the hospitals by the way you are aware that the SEIU represent the health care industry aren't you?? You know they were the biggest donaters to Obama's campaign.. While I am NOT anti union I am anti Union pushing the agenda for this country.. want to bet they also have a HUGE steak in bring in H1B workers to replace AMERICAN workers.. and you also realize while the union big wigs support Obama the members don't..
How many people do you think know the percentage of doctors who belong to the AMA? Do people also know membership in the AMA has been declining for years?
Obama proudly talked about the AMA and doctors supporting his health 'reform' making it sound as if all doctors are with him. Many people have readily accepted his implication as fact, and repeated the line "doctors are for health reform"

Imagine, some people acturally believe The President and Congress represents all Americans. And now you tell us that people who disagree are insignificant to the President and Congress.

If our President and our Congress are not listening and consider those who disagee insignificant, then it should meet with their approval if those same insignificant people they don't represent refuse to pay the additional taxes for "their" health reform. They won't need that insignificant amount of money, will they?

I'm sure you were very supportive when the Republicans were in the majority, weren't you?

it's the sad world we live in.. no one should get old.. nothing should ever hurt..I hurt my shoulder a few years back, my doctor though I might have torn something did an X-Ray.. well it showed a slight bit of arthritis and send me to a bone specialist who I told what I was doing before the pain began.. he said what I already figured out I bruised the bone. he gave me some expensive anti-inflammatory.. I read the side effects and refused to take them on my return visit he asked how I was doing I told him about not taking the drugs he prescribed.. he asked what I was taking for the pain I said aspirin he laughed and said ASPIRINS are the best anti-inflammatory they make, when I asked why he gave me the other expensive drugs he said NO ONE WANTS TO SEE A DOCTOR AND HAVE HIM TELL THEM TAKE TO ASPIRINS.. he was a young doctor about 30 -35 so it does not surprise me that most people beleive everyone should be on 2 or 3 drugs the norm.. Bet the Pharm companies make MORE money than the insurance companies..but the insurance companies who have to pay the pharm companies the big bucks they are the bad guy's.. right..
One of the reasons why insurance companies are only making around 2% is because of drug prescriptions. The 65% of the United States people who are on medication is ostentatious. There were doctors who would not treat me because I would not take western medicine pain killers, after an injury this year-and the insurance companies attorney is using that as a model of "she wasn't hurt", if I went on Oxy or Vicodin, and suffered side effects and became addicted, who would then of championed my cause? Oh that's right-the liberal democrats, they appreciated everyone being hopped up on the pharmecuticals-makes for easier control.

It is always better to donate to overseas charities, they actually appreciate what they get, I do not DONATE anything anymore for a few reasons If I donate something I want it to go to someone who NEEDS it for FREE.. not to be put in a store and SOLD to them... when I have something to give away I start calling family members and ask if they know of anyone who could use it..then if no I set the object in a box or whatever neat NEXT TO or ON TOP of the weekly trash the night before and put a sign on it saying this works FREE..Seldom does it last more than an hour or two.. I was poor all my life and am not rich by far now but I don't believe in wasting something that works good..I hate it when they tell me I have to buy a new cell phone cause mine is outdated while it works just fine..buying a new one isn't as much of a problem as not being able to hand down the one I have which works.. While the government and all these so called green people keep yelling recycle they mean BUY NEW and give the one you have to us so we can make a profit from updating it and reselling it..

Which is one of the things the PROGRESSIVES managed to miss and Obama spoon feeding his BS they brought into it hook line and sinker.. how gullible.. I just told my nephew who is in college well your ALMOST educated he took offense..OH WELL as I told him LIFE and LIFE'S lessons will complete his education..He unfortunately lost both his parents who loved him dearly however, what was missing was that he himself has to know MORE than what they feed you in school to survive.. and how politicians only tell you what will get them elected.. Lets face it if any of these kids stopped to think that Politicians spend MILLIONS of dollars (sometimes their own money)on campaigning for a job that at the top only pays $400,000 a year cash.. Why is that?? Its one of two things POWER and Perks and both get them MORE money than their yearly paychecks..nor do they realize just HOW MANY Politicians are MILLIONAIRES and those are the POOR ones the rest are multimillionaires.. they will retire with HUGE pensions (most likely their pension money was in AIG which is WHY it was so important it not fail)..and lifetime health care courtesy of taxpayers.. they didn't even notice ANYONE in Politics crying when the stock market went down cause their 401K dropped.. they have a PRIVATE pension/retirement plan.. how nice.. and now they are mad because the people are standing up and demanding answers..

Yep...and mine's a valid District of Columbia Birth Certificate (Not a COLB that Ms. Okubo, Obama and the DNC are pawning off). Mine is a long form that includes every conceivable iota of data regarding my parents, location (e.g. country), doctor ad infinitum. Yes we're sure, as Ms. Okobu states "a valid Hawaii State birth certificate", however provide the DETAILS. That's what defines whether or not he's a U.S. citizen according to Constitutional standards.
For Obama to spend MILLIONS of dollars to conceal the data...THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES. Hmmm...conceal data of Occidental records, Masters Thesis, Harvard records...American citizens are not ignorant.

If 65% are on at least one pharmecutical-that is more than every other person. I know many myself. My husbands secretary has a daughter in her 30's who got hurt slipping at the McDonalds-she had a pulled muscle, now after 2 years, she is on 14 medications with more problems than she started with. My injury was more severe and I will heal completely with very little damage and no drugs after about 10 months. The difference is I had 2 doctors who are healers, not prescription writers. This country is so sick and being sick makes them ignorant. It is no wonder, if they don't question the doctor, how in the world can we expect them to question the government. Evidentally you have had some experience with an alternative doctor to figure out that you were allergic to eggs. Most doctors would have just prescribed a drug they thought would mask the effect of the allergy.

I did laugh about the drug selling-if the insurance company had their way-I would have been in a pain clinic getting hopped up myself. The first the workman's comp insurance company did was give me a drug card, and the two doctors I went to said "why are you not on anything?" A nurse so much as pushed the paper work back at me and said you didn't fill out the drug information. I had. Because I am 48 years old-she said it wasn't possible that I wasn't on anything. Geez, can you believe that?

I know even my general doctor who was quite old at the time looked at my chart and said YOUR NOT ON ANY MEDICATION.. then asked if I need anything.. I told him NO and he said OK.. I found out I was allergic to eggs when I got the flu shot.. I swelled and got huge hives at all my joints.. I did have allergy tests a few years before but just the one where they lay the stuff on your skin and I didn't have a reaction to eggs.. just soy, wheat, peanuts.. most trees and flowers and quack grass.. oh ya dogs and cats.. Had my middle son tested then too.. the allergist said I was lucky he didn't die from his baby shots sine he has the worst allergy to eggs she has ever seen.. One would think they would run allergy test BEFORE they expose our kids to shot knowing eggs is a common allergy.. he did get allergic asthma from them though.. well I figured since the shots for allergies was a dose of the dog that bit you so to speak.. I moved out by a forest preserve, have a huge garden, 2 dogs and 2 cats.. don't feel any worse during allergy season as when I lived in the city..My new doctor I have had for 4 years and I saw once when I had the flu 2 years ago.. I told him I was allergic to eggs so I couldn't have a flu shot and I hadn't had the flu for 10 years.. he gave me an antibiotic cause I was getting congested and some cough medicine I never took and told me he's see me in 6 years when my immune system was low again.. thing is when you don't get sick very often your to dumb to sit down when you do thinking it will just go away if you can move.. doesn't always work.. sometimes you actually have to go to bed and be sick for a few days..LOL

allergies are funny sometimes they act up sometimes not, I ate Pistachios for 9 months when carrying my daughter fact is that is all I ate.. never bothered me.. had her and I couldn't eat them again.. as my daughter loves to point out they call it PRACTICING MEDICINE.. they don't KNOW anything.. you have to take care of what is currently acting up and the body changes and adapts so it's a consistent change..
