I'm a food photographer who's just gotten into the field, and am approaching restaurant owners to pitch my services. I was wondering, how would you like to be contacted if I was soliciting your business, and what would you be looking for in a photographer? What solutions do I need to offer you to make the deal?

I have always wanted to meet the owner of some of the restaurants I have been to. I would like to know how they were able to come up with such a great menu. Every time I ask, the owner is never there. I really wish I could meet the owner sometime.
