Full story: Long Beach Press-Telegram

Conservatives here, a droll minority, say that under this city's quota system, when a conservative enters the city, one already here is required to leave.

Well said, Mr. Will. One has only to look at what happened here in California after similar disclosures were made, and the effect on people and businesses which had supported the Prop 8 campaign. Liberals claim to be tolerant, and to require it of others for whatever causes and issues they are supporting, while at the same time, they exact revenge and attempt to destroy anyone who disagrees with them. If one objects to illegal aliens being tolerated in this country, one is called a racist. If one is opposed to gay marriage, one is accused of opposing equal rights. Do you remember the boycott of certain restaurants after it was revealed that the owner had supported the Prop 8 campaign? The very groups screaming for tolerance, so clearly failing to exercise it, simply proves Mr. Will's point in this article.

Excellent article that describes one of the tactics used to intimidate people from voicing their lawful opinions.

Incisive and astute, Mr. Will.

One can imagine disclosure as a favored tool of bullies such as President Hugo Chavez. Hopefully the United States can resist its temptations.

People who choose to sign public petitions have no reasonable expectation of privacy.

The NAACP and Cesar Chavez's UFW, among others, organized entirely legitimate economic boycotts against people and organizations whom they perceived as denying their rights. The gay community and supporters of same-sex marriage are entitled to do likewise.

Of course, harassment or violence are quite another matter.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Scorpio

This is not the easiest day for concentrating on what needs to be done, whether tackling those Christmas cards and letters, writing out a list of jobs, or getting on with other urgent work. Mental activity seems to be blocked, as Mars is slowing and Mercury is under cosmic pressure. Take some time out for meditation, or reflection, and let your subconscious do the work.
