Six Flags is so generic and lacking of individual park identity the entire chain should just be sold to McDonalds. Combine the imagination of a strip mall with Lord & Taylor prices and there is no reason to go!$3.00 for a 16 ounce Coke?$3.00??? Screw them. Go to Lakeside, better site, more unique style, MUCH better prices, cooler on hot days, better atmoshpere, TREES, GRASS. Support them and maybe they can offer some more rides.

Now that the park has been sold and the changes they are looking at it should be a great park. Remember when you take a amusement park move it downtown next to the light rail it is going to be a mecca for teenagers. Season Passes are reasonable but daily rates are really high. lets just hope they conitnue to offer the season passes as well as bring in a better quality of food. Also keeping a handle on the teenagers and thier behavior in the water park.

Six Flags Maryland has a BOGUS "Festival" on EVERY America's Fathers Day. Inside the park that day, they have MANY MANY Large Tents staffed with Spanish speaking vendors offering housing, Jobs, Car Sales and other services to NEW Illegal Aliens. Illegals come from surrounding States to get these services. Tell them what America thinks of this. GuestRelations@sftp.com Please HELP AMERICA

Sharon Turner you need to shut the fu*k up because I am an american as well as you and Mexicans here are the best you know why? they keep your oranges, tomatoes, potatoes and every other vegetable coming from the grow areas clean safe to eat with great cuality and they keep yor grass and your flowers growing and in great condition! they make your fast food, bread, tacos places and all that great stuff goin and running for you, they do all the dirty offensive crap that you would never do and you know what its a good thing that mexicans are here in the us ok?
Its a really bad thing that they had to sell because now its going to be kind of sad when people go there and the six flags logo is no longer arround! its a shame that this had to happen, The admission prices were way too high and the prices for food and drinks were EXTREAMLY unreasonable i mean $4.00 for a soda,$5.00 for a scaras italian ice,$6.00 or even up to $8.99 for a 3 or 4 dollar meal i mean come on thats just crazy and to be honest it is tremendously stupid. there was also candies ice creans and toys for sale but most of all those goods and addibles were mostly 2, 3 and somethimes even 4 DOLLARS ABOVE REGULAR SALES PRICES and that is just enough said to make you sick! also the admission prices were WAY OFF, im not 100% sure but i think it was $40.00 to get in for just ONE DAY i mean come on now thats just not right! we will see if any of the advice and complaints on the internet is helpfull and usefull to the people running the park this upcomming year.

The rides are fun for kids, and the passes are a great deal. The problem is, Moms and Dads who don't ride shouldn't have to pay a dime to get in, to stand around in the hot sun and supervise their cranky, sticky kids. How about a Starbucks ever 200 yards for the Moms? Also, the back of the park is trashy -- trashy people and trashy games. Looks like a carnival. If they want more families to go there, they need to fix both of these issues. 1) Make it more Mom friendly, and 2) Get rid of all the trashy carnival games.

I am going out on a limb here but I would have to guess that Nathan Elinoff is the owner of Funtastic Fun which is probably the reason for his negative comments on Elitch Gardens. As is the case with any privately owned business, profit is essential to existence and if you don't want to pay $15 for parking, park off-site and walk to the park. By the way, Nathan, I went to school with you way back when and am impressed with all you have done in the entertainment/food industry.

Elitch Gardens rocks. dont sell it because if you do then many teenagers will be quite upset. elitches advertises mostly to teenagers because its to busy to be considered a family environment. but still it is awesome. dont sell it. please. i have a pass along with 15 of my friends and we are planning on visiting the park 5/7 days a week this summer. please dont sell it. this coming from a teenager by the way. thats why i can relate to other teenagers. and DONT listen to Nathan Elinof. he's obviously a idiot if he thinks that elitches is "horrible". oh well he seems like a jerk anyways. elitches rox and thats that.

Seriously they need to adjust the prices, that is obvious. The company's stock has dropped from $40 per share down to $6 per share from 1999. They are obviously doing something wrong. It seems they switch from catering to the public to catering to their pocketbooks. I used to go to Six Flags (if it is still that) aka Geauga Lake in Ohio and it was a hell of a lot cheaper before Six Flags took it over.
I read a post about teenagers being vulgar punks and it deters the families. Well then divide the park, if you want the thrill rides, go to that side if not stay on the family side and let those who don't mind standing in line for a 30 second rush have thier fun. And whoever decided to mix kids rides with punk teen rides is a moron. Decide who you want to cater to and do it.
Oh yeah and lower your damn CEO's salary. Why the hell does he deserve a raise? The stocks haven't done a damn thing since 99 when they fell.

F You wrote: F*** you Nathan Elinoff not all teenagers are the same you p**** I guess Nathan just made his point perfectly clear; teenagers do in fact experiment with drugs, alcohol, smoking, etc. and they are not to be trusted, left alone, or as the article clearly suggests, families with young children should "NEVER" take their kids to Elitch's because of these disgusting, season pass daily hanging around teenagers. That's why we don't go there anymore. Plus the funnel cakes really are $7.00. What a rip.

Nathan in Denver is right. I woul dnever take my 4 year old to Elitch's. Why pay $100.00 for admission; he can't ride the big rides, and I can't ride the kiddie rides. What's the point> I go to Funtastic Kiddieland in Denver. Same thing, but inside, reasonable prices, and "NO FUCKING TEENAGERS!"

Six Flags owed more than 1 billion dollars by buying everything in sight and worrying about the results later. Well, turns out tat they sold 6 parks including Denver and Houston because of the huge value on the real estate. This reduced their debt load some. By making those kind of huge mistakes, they have to charge outragious prices and they still couldn't make it. The problem is, it's not a question of "if;" but "when" Elitch's will close down and develop the land. Obviously 100 to 150 million is more than they'll net in 50 years. It's always a problem when some entity come in, steals a market, then leaves everyone high and dry, and possibly putting other facilities in bankruptcy in their wake. Funtastic Fun is not their market, so we are not worried in the least. These big parks lie about admissions; if you have a season pass and you use it 20 times, they count that as 20 acmissions. So the 800,000 people who visited Elitch's, maybe very few of them spent much money, and maybe the teenagers were the ones who constantly ruin a good thing for families. That's why families stay away; the teenagers plus high prices. Call me sometime!
