Six Flags charges too much money, attendance is down, families can't afford to go there. Sell the land like Asstro World in Houseton, sell it for 60 million and develop it. Maybe then Lakeside will invest in newer rides and continue thier tradition of a family park.

Mark Shapiro; a family of four pays about $200.00 plus overprised food ($6.99 for a funnel cake???) to your amusement park. You're kdding, right????? What kind of crap are you telling the media? You're shifting your customer base from penny pinching teenagers to families??? What families are you talking about??? 98% of American families don't go to your parks because they're too overwhelming and expensive.
You allow teenagers to pay $50.00 for a season pass; lets see; that's what, 56 cents per admission per day all summer long? WOW - Mark Shipiro; you're a good businessman.
Teenagers and families never mix. Teenagers are a problem; they smoke, drink, do drugs, cuss, run around, and spoil the fun.
Furthermore, you're security for "kiddieland" sucks; kids can get molested or stolen because you don't provide any security at all. Who goes there? No one I know.
Remarketing your parks to "families" is stupid; you're not doing it. Sell off your parks and stick to whatever it is you're good at. You and Mark Cuban; you're greedy, and egotistical.
You're 2 "BILLION" in debt. Sell them off; you failed.
You makeme want to vomit. I think you're thieves; and bad one at that.$15.00 to park your car. Schmucks.

six flags is awsome and it would be a huge mistake to sell it, I think it will pull out of it if he would just lower the prices.
they do need to make it family oryinted right now its advertised mainly to young people.

hi im bevan i think they need better security.

I sure that running a park like Elich Gardens is expensive. Visiting 6 flags over texas 30 years ago was a treat and a joy. I hope that the park continues, no matter under what flag. I agree that it is too expensive though. We've bought season passes in prior years but the time spent in lines made it unappealing to our kids. Everything is overtly set up to take your money. A little sublety, some salesmanship, would help. Shoot, show a video on the making of the rides. That would be something I would stand in line for.
The parking, especially for season pass holders, is a ripoff.

Six Flags is obviously a rip off.$15.00 to park you rcar here in DENVER? What, is parking is short supply here????? Why not $50.00????
Funnel cakes are $8.00. Why not make them $28.95???
Sell your property. Go to Funtastic fun instead! If you're too old, then fly to Universal Studios. Now "THAT'S" fun!

I think the sale of the park is a bad deal. If they are just going to sell some parks (Elitch's), then they should sell the whole company. Elitch's DOES make money, and shouldn't have to carry the whole company, like it seems they are doing. The park has a bid, let's just hope that it stays an amusement park. The city wants the park to remain no matter who owns it. The city makes money from the park being there. The park employs hundreds of people, some getting their first job there. Elitch's seems to always have a lot pof people in the park. Management never gives employees any information on the sale.

I think the employees have a right to know whether the park is going to be around and for how long. Some co-workers want to know what kind of people are interested in purchasing the land or the park. Whoever it is, I hope they make it better. To all of our guests: PLEASE COME BACK AND KEEP SUPPORTING ELITCH'S! No matter what happens with the sale. Just because the other parks are losing money, Denver should not suffer. Six Flags corp just wants to make money for their investors, and doesn't seem to care about the customers or the employees who will be out of work. Anyone interested in knowing more should search the web like I did and find out as much as you can about the sale. Google is a good place to start. Obviously, I'm not very happy about this.

Maybe the company should file for Chapter 11 bankrupcy. They should at least get more bids for the company, and not sell off just some of the parks. I heard that the Hershey's Corporation is thinking about buying the company. Anyone else hear that? It would be better to be part of the Hershey's family, instead of closed and out of work. The employees deserve to have more information, either from the company or the media.

PARC 7F may not be able to close the deal on the Six Flags parks. Rumor has it that they can not come up with all of the "cash" needed for the sale to go through. If the sale is a bust, what will happen next? Will the parks be sold to another buyer? Will Synder continue to run these parks into the ground with overpriced food and parking?
