Valleyfair operator expects good summer
The head of Cedar Fair Entertainment says attendance at the company's amusement parks should increase if travelers stay closer to home because of high gas prices and the struggling economy.

Good for Valley Fair, I wish I could go on rides but I barf now that I am older. Anyway... I just had to post somewhere that the Taste of Minnesota music line up is about the lamest music line up EVER! Who put that line up together anyway? And did they get paid to book those bands?? On a scale of 1 - 10 I would give the Taste of Minny music line up a -5. Deadwood Jam in South Dakota gets better bands for crying out loud! Very weak St. Paul and you wonder why you are the mutant city! Heck Valley Fairs two stages has better music daily!

With gas going up many local businesses and attractions are going to have a pretty decent summer. Hopefully the lakefront cabins will fair well.
