Good Job Jane! You managed to rake in far more money from out of town than in town!
.
Is it because they don't know what a bad job you've done in the Chico area?
.
Do they even know where Chico is?

Yep. Notice how Lance's biggest contributors (and the funders of his political action committee) are the very people Mr. Ramsey prosecuted for environmental crimes.

Between the loggers, scrap yards, scrap haulers, recyclers, petroleum purveyors and people with lenghty court records, its a veritable whos who of the kinds of things we want to keep out of our county.

Big friggin suprise that the only person they could find to run against Mike Ramsey is a nutty psychic from Sacramento.

Anyone ever wonder why if these politicians are so great at fundraising to get themselves in office, then why are we having such financial troubles? How come once elected thier ability to raise money for just causes disappears?

Well, in the case of Mike Ramsey, over a long career he ends up prosecuting more and more people who originally supported him.

Lots of people are all about law and order until they get a speeding ticket. Then they want the cop and the "corrupt" judge fired. Suddenly the whole system is a conspiracy and everyone needs to go.

Being a DA must be a thankless job.

I noticed that there were many more individuals than corporations or businesses contributing to Ramsey's campaign. In my mind this says a lot about the background of the candidates and the nature of their supporters. It's a good indicator that Butte County citizens are standing up to those who are trying to buy a public office. Next time, try someone local to run against a Butte County official; people will have more respect for you.

Mike Ramsey, making a $50,000 loan to his campaign? Where does that kind of money come from? Is the job worth that much or did it get funded through anther method?
Yes, it's also easy to see who has been under Ramsey's thumb, metal salvage, etc.
I'm for Jane Dolan but it concerns me that many of her contributors are land/building manipulators.

I read a good article on the "Politico" website with the observation that the "anti-incumbent" fever raging throughout the country has caused many to support candidates who were not completely vetted by their backers. Do you honestly think that the Lance Daniel supporters knew about the psychic connection when they recruited them? An amateur mistake. Any savvy and professional political adviser would have told the Daniel group to RUN AWAY as soon as they heard about "remote viewing." The Daniel cabal handed Ramsey a silver-plated foot-in-mouth.

That's a fairly common campaign practice. Most likely, he got a loan and then loaned that money to his campaign. Nothing nefarious there. Much less shady than having people who have a complaint about breaking the law "buying" their own candidate. Hey,do you think Lance Daniel will stay in Butte County if he loses on June 8?

The DA's office chose to prosecute a traffic infraction after a commissioner dismissed it as the complaint was being to vague and ambiguous. They spent thousands and we round and round till I was eventually found guilty and had to pay the $200 fine. I'm glad justice was served but the math sure doesn't make much sense. Oh and the cop did lie several times during testimony and was embarrassed to read his own typos out loud in court but to prove perjury when it's your word against his is nearly impossible.

So, where are all those people that claimed Lance Daniel wasn't being backed by special interests? Sure looks like it to me! To those people who donated all this money to Daniel's campaign and then turned around and said Ramsey is destroying businesses - you look like liars! I mean look at these figures, that's a lot of money to just give away! I sure as hell don't have that kind of cash to just donate! Obviously, Ramsey didn't hurt your businesses and you've all got an axe to grind!

Oh and by the way, I no longer feel sorry for George Scott and the rest of them! They put out the biggest sob story about Ramsey trying to ruin them, yet they appear to be doing just fine! Not of all of us can buy ourselves an election!

Thank you Interesting and Blossom. The truth is coming out. Lance Daniel IS a bought and paid for candidate. Can you imagine what law enforcement would be like in the county if the polluters had their way. Lance Daniel would give them a free hand to make a mess under their "economic balance."

Please urge everyone you can to vote Mike Ramsey.

Keep Butte County clean and safe.

The big money contributions ($1,000 and over) to the Daniel Campaign of a little over $30, 000 pale in comparison to the $50,000 Ramsey purportedly loaned to his campaign in order to buy the election.

But then we don't really know how that money got in Ramsey's bank account....do we??

Remember this candidate who Ramsey supported in a previous election while keeping in mind that Ramsey thrives on corruption!

Don't you feel better knowing that Ramsey isn't being funded by a group of people who think they are above the law? At least Ramsey can stand on his own two feet! Daniel looks like a puppet on a string.

Listen bonehead. The man works for a paycheck. The money probably got into his bank account out of 23 years of paychecks. That would work out (on average) to about $2,500 a year and he makes over $100K

Thats about $200 a month. Most of us spend more than that on gasoline.

Wait, let me guess, thats a conspiracy too.

The election was in 2000 and this election fraud wasn't discovered until 2005. By the time Ramsey's campaign is audited he will have named his replacement and retired.

Some people say the same thing about Larry Wahl.
