Lauryn Hill speaks out on tax evasion charge

The Grammy winner accused of stiffing the IRS said she deliberately took her family "underground" for several years for their "safety and survival" but intended to pay Uncle Sam when she resurfaced. She said she was a fugitive fleeing a “media-controlled military industrial complex”

The headline should read: "Lauryn Hill pleads T.N.B. regarding tax evasion". The best part about it is that she seems surprised that the Feds aren't buying her shine. She should add that not only the military industrial complex but social programs that have created a debt that WILL break this country. You see republicans blame social programs and democrats blame the militatry and rich people when in fact they are equally responsible. Both democrats and republicans need to develop wisdom, hence the reason many like myself have gone independent. Hopefully one day someone will rise who is a balance between the two because many of us are damn tired of both these parties.

Which is exactly why, unless he does something really stupid before November, I'm voting for Gary Johnson.

Sure, he may not have a big chance of winning, but sooner or later we have to start trying to help build a valid third party... neither Obama or Romeny interest me much at all.
