Full story: Daytona Beach News-Journal Online

There is a point to the idea, that the Seabreeze/Oakridge Avenue bridge spits into two lanes on either side, and opens up to 3 three lanes of one way traffic, entering the beachside, and two lanes of one way traffic, thru a residential business district going in the opposite direction. It's called corruption! A condominium hotel can not be built based on this traffic pattern. It doesn't support the hotels that exist, it does not properly support the ocean center which is secondary to those hotels. It is an accommodation for the purpose of bike events to direct money to main street, for out of town venders. The bridge construction will not support tourism! In the same sense that building a high rise hotel will not promote the beach. Ocean Walk Resort has proven that point!
