things are now serious the city never planned for a mall ,state has cut millions of dollars at the last moment to the city for essential services ,crime is rising and the taxpayers are take back by thus so called high end mall.
High end un Norwalk is having an unlocked McDonalds bathroom.
Now instead f new store they are pulling from the city making vacant spots in a city where parking is a nightmare .
Public officials threw dirt yesterday , and a lot of Bull crap ,GGP said took a chance started without permits shut down the hotel and took back parking spots.
Moving a cementary for GGP is a prereq for the city ,
where are the shareholders ,this is suppose to be the l;sat mall built for a while ,so far its political footballl and the shareholders are paying premium for concessions ,the city is lost just read the facts don't take our word for it,

Why would anyone build a mall in a city where the only hotel is drowning?
Shareholders GGP is not covering your back by building in Norwalk,they knew the cry was failing before they bought the land .
Partnership has been suggested to those already in the city who have failed projects
A loan on the Doubletree by Hilton Norwalk hotel is undergoing a foreclosure proceeding, according to a analysis firm that tracks commercial lending, which added the venue could be sold after stabilizing its finances.
The Doubletree Norwalk is located at 789 Connecticut Ave. in Norwalk on the Darien line, with the hotel having a few natural advantages in easy access to Interstate 95 and having the global headquarters of Priceline Group across the street. The hotel has 265 units and last underwent a major renovation in 2011.
Hilton Worldwide owns the Doubletree brand, with the Norwalk hotel one of nearly 500 under that name. Hilton operates more than 5,000 hotels globally with flags like Waldorf Astoria, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton and Homewood Suites among others.

How can a hotel in a city of 100,000 fold? If they close it down its a Hilton what did they know no one else knew?
The city s not a destination ,the state is going to toll the road for those able to shop in a high end mall,yes good luck with that.
Ct has no budget they want to tax everything more that GGP is building how can that be good?
Asking where are the investors,the deal is most don't speak english its foreign run another kick in the mouth for the taxpayers

Gas station across the street was robbed same station where an employee was shot to death recently , run down homes and projects st accrues from the new mall
Shareholders have no idea whats going on ,its a money pit and the city could care less whats going on they are out of money and the city has no loice bite
maybe its because the mayor was former police chief for twenty years
Norwalk refuses to allow a substation to go in the mall , they have no money or the brains to protect the customers of the mall , most officers make 200,000 a year whats that tell you curb crime take a deduction in pay build the mall maybe 300,000 a year
the city wasn't ready for a mall but decided en empty hole for years should have something
they got a dinosaur and no way of protecting it
