I wanna know why, after having watched a bunch of my consultant friends lose their jobs, they still keep vice presidents who don't do anything on payroll? There's some gray haired guy in marketing with glasses who is a vice president (but nobody reports into him) and all he does is sit in his office all day looking out the window. I heard he is also one of the highest paid vice presidents. Why is this guy being protected while the rest of us have to worry every day we come into the office if it is going to be our last? Anyone?

not sure a move south is gonna happen. its reasonable to ask why it hasnt already happened if its such a good idea. People down south are slow & stupid if they're not imports from the northeast. Plus, im betting danbury does everything possible to keep cartus in town. as one of the areas largest employers, a move out of town would be harsh on the local economy & tax revenues.
What an ignorant comment to make. Everyone in the South is not slow and stupid any more than everyone in the Northeast is brilliant! Do you really believe that Cartus/Apollo has a allegiance to Danbury?? The only thing they care about is the bottom line. A move to the Tennessee makes all the sense in the world. The reason that it hasn't happened yet is that they just bought Primacy - give them time - it's certainly not out of the question...

yes...everyone in the south, who is from the south, is slow & stupid. there's no question that the land of slavery, rednecke jokes, & George W Bush are a giant pool of dumb people. All the recalled toyotas were built in southern factories. not a coincidence.

Cartus doesnt need to buy a company to move. they can just move whenever they want to. maybe on paper moving to dixie is a money saver but good luck finding anyone that can understand the relocation policies.

& finally, would you trust relocation advice from a person with a rednecke accent? Case closed.

Well all I can say is that I would rather take advice and assistance from a nice person with a redneck accent than work with person like you with a world-class negative attitude. Case closed.

Why is it that all you unhappy people (former employees)keep bashing Cartus?

Whats wrong, not happy and sorry you left, your career move leaving Cartus was a poor judgement on your part?

Seems like you have lots of time to write posts about your former job. I hope your can find time to make your curent job better and more challenging, because it seems like you have to much time on your hand.

Keeping those toilets clean - oops missed a spot - must not be so much fun, rewarding and challenging therefore we can understand your anger and need to vent.

Once a fool always a fool....keep scrubing!

Time is anger's medicine....hope you feel better.

Why not tell us about your new and better exciting jobs or are you so embarrassed to share?

Remember:
To change and to do better are two different things....!

If you are a current employee and are filled with this much hatred and contempt for your employer, where is your self-respect? Leave, already.

Word has it that Cartus management has set up a task force to determine which overlapping jobs will be eliminated and they expect to implement these layoffs by the end of the 2nd quarter. This could be disastrous for the consultants, relo accountants, and account management in Danbury since there is a lot of pressure to retain the more service driven personnel from Primacy, which have a far better track record of customer service. Dozens are likely to be let go by July at ARR.

where does this garbage come from...name names!
its not exactly a shock that a merger will result in layoffs of overlapping jobs. as far as primacys service being better, everyone working at cartus knows why service is bad.
The real question is...will primacys way of doing business be integrated into cartus, or the other way around?

Just heard Bob & Bob has been retained as "consultants" to do a little "house cleaning" at the ARR. Pretty soon the cafeteria will be replaced with vending machines.

Interesting, since merit increases are coming back, the 401K matching is (slowly) coming back, and Cartus bought Primacy. I think Bob and Bob are being moving down to "Storage Area B" and being handed a can of cockroach spray...

sorry but my sources inside the entity do not see any movement on raises & 401K match. Maybe thats happening behind closed doors for upper management.

Cartus management didn't get raises or bonuses because the money was all spent on the Primacy acquisition. Morale is at an all time low. Things are pretty bad here. Everyone is worried when the next layoff is coming.
