The lessons of war never sink in. If we still had the draft this country would be a lot less eager to get involved in one. The dead and injured are remembered a few days of the year but thousands of young men and women are ruined for life before they even got started. Conservatives in congress want to cut their benefits in favor a bunch of rich people's taxes after they give their arms and legs and lives for this country. These politicians are who we should remember next election.
