Normally, Bush's speeches are pretty blasé and sometimes border stupid. This one hits the nail on the head. He threw a hook and the dummy, Obama took the bait! If he did not say he was going to talk to Ahmadinejad and his fellow terrorists, Hezbollah,Hamas,Al Qaeda, etc., how come he admits the speech was targeted at him and not the other dud, Jimmy Carter? Bingo! Any more Democrats wanna bite on this one? So we finally now know what Obama's change is about: Me, Me, Me!

What? Condi Rice and Bush's Sec. of Defense both recommended opening communications. Bush's aides admitted he was inaccurately referring to Obama as an "appeaser" (to evil-doers, I guess), at a celebratory event in front of another nation's assembly of leaders. Having a president interject domestic politics (and falsely at that) at another's nations 60th anniversary is unprecedented (I believe) and embarassing. Poor judgement W.

Bush is playing games, I dont think Obama should have responded at all (even though it was obviously directed at him) simply because Bushes games are why we are where we are.

Al Jazeera claims that Hamas is operating phone banks for Obama in Gaza, and we do have this:

...and this:

...but we're supposed to ignore the issue of who the Jihadists think would be the best president for thier cause, just as we're supposed to ignore the issue of what the Democrats would have said about any candidate who was a member of the Klan for twenty years (yes, I'm refering to Rev. Wright) or who sought the support of the only Klansman in Congress, Senator Wm. Byrd (Hillary thanked him for giving her West Virgina).

What do you think is going to happen when the majority gets really mad over these illiberal liberals power trip laws? I would recommend reading The Tyranny of Tolerance by Robert H. Dieker Jr. before it's to late to turn back

Does this mean that the liberals Democrats plan to have plans to negotiate with every terrorist group and terrorist nation? If that is the case we might as well kiss our ass good-bye right now.

Eight years ago I would have voted for McCain. Now, his flip flops to suit the immediate and repeated hypocrisy have left any "straight talk" image I had of him far in the past. The Bush/McCain policies have left the USA much less secure due to their unwise use of our military and financial assets. I don't see McCain as an answer to the serious problems we now face; I see him as helping to construct them. He's more of the same at a time when we need real change.
