Republicans use Gates' new book to hammer Clinton, Biden

Republicans quickly pounced on some controversial details from former Defense Secretary Bob Gates' new book in which he highlights an admission from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that he found "dismaying" and fiercely lambasts Vice President Joe Biden.

I lived it. I was a staff accountant on Wall St. after graduating from college. The SEC and NASD examiners were one step above the IRS mail room occupiers. Most are no show and no work jobs. You could spot them coming a mile away. They were usually in pairs, and were poorly dressed. One was almost always a woman, and the other a minority. Sometimes they were both female minorities. English was often a second language as well. They were all C- students at CCNY.
The EEOC and NYC Attorney General Morganthau was fanatic about enforcing Clinton's affirmative action, especially in the financial sector. Jesse Jackson's rainbow/push coalition was extorting millions at the time as well.

Wonderful isn't it?

In a new memoir of his time as secretary of defense in the Obama administration, Gates writes:“Hillary told the president that her opposition to the [2007] surge in Iraq had been political because she was facing him in the Iowa primary.. .&#820 1;. The president conceded vaguely that opposition to the Iraq surge had been political. To hear the two of them making these admissions, and in front of me, was as surprising as it was dismaying.”

Sad isn't it?

So someone make the obvious point of Obama filling his highest appointments and making his closest advisers republicans. It is the height of disgusting to even consider Chuck Hagel for a top position. It is completely immoral to put him anywhere near control of our military.
