"Clinton broke the law"......... that's rather far fetched exaggeration, it's it.

But, as you've taken the time to learn, he Line Item Veto power pushed America into fiscal responsibility and produced 4 years of budget surpluses......

Ckinton broke the law when he did it too, just like lawless barock.
Although it was intended to control "pork barrel spending", the Line Item Veto Act of 1996 was held to be unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court in a 1998 ruling in Clinton v. City of New York. The court affirmed a lower court decision that the line-item veto was equivalent to the unilateral amendment or repeal of only parts of statutes and therefore violated the Presentment Clause of the United States Constitution.[4] Before the ruling, President Clinton applied the line-item veto to the federal budget 82 times.[

Every President wants a line item veto, you idiot. This way they can pick and choose what laws they want to obey, like barock. Abraham Lincoln wanted to keep Confederate spies indefinitely too. The Judicial and Legislative branches say otherwise. You should move to a totalitarian state where your Dear Leader can control the lies better.

We are a nation of laws.

The fiscal responsibility came from Republicans in Congress with welfare reform after he got trounced in the mid-terms the way barock is about to be. The Fed Reserve was trying to rein in the money supply back then too, unlike today where it's exploding from quantitative easing.

Dear Penisbreath:

1. There is no one named "barock" being discussed.

2. President BARACK Obama has accomplished more than you and your entire family going back a couple of generations.

3. Hillary does not enter into the discussion.

NO ReTHUGlican in Congress has shown the slightest degree of "fiscal responsibility." That is the OPPOSITE of the truth. They have cost us tens of billions by shutting down government; they have damaged our credit rating; they have prevented Americans from obtaining unemployment benefits. They are the OPPOSITE of "fiscally responsible."

Mr. Obama has passed the point of "mid-term elections." He's in his SECOND and FINAL term. Learn the meaning of words in the English language.

"Quantitative easing" has helped blunt the negative effects of right-wing ideologues and allowed SOME kind of relief from Bush's recession. That could improve IF ReTHUGlicans were to abandon their anti-American economic policies and stimulate the f---ing economy for a change.

Please, PLEASE stop embarrassing yourself with this stupid nonsense.

Banks were forced to make loans to people that could not pay it back. It took a while to burst but it finally did. Freddie and Fannie KNEW this, bought the paper, housing market crashed KNOWING they( Freddie and Fannie) would be bailout out by the federal government, ie TAXPAYERS!! Don't blame the banks ,BLAME GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS in the housing market!
FYI, there was history BEFORE you got sober!
Idiotic bullshit.

NO bank was "forced to make loands to people that coule not pay it back." That is a LIE propagated by idiots like you and your talking-points providers.

Fannie and Freddie didn't cause the meltdown either. Wall St. did, by creating deriviatives out of bundled bad loans, which they then sold to IDIOTS like you - only with more money. Wall St. in the '90s was an OUT OF CONTROL CASINO, you buffoon.

Government regulations had been SHUT DOWN by reTHUGlicans in the '90s, idiot. That was what enabled the Wall St. Casino to operate in the first place.

Please, PLEASE don't be so F----ING STUPID. You're hurting my head.

As I recall the details of Gitmo, it was opened under George Bush not Obama, and those detainees who have resided there are there solely because the Bush administration sought to keep them there and it was the Republicans in 2009 who swore to keep detainees in Gitmo to prevent them from being sent to institutions here in America

Yet you blame Obama and for the love of God, Abaham Lincoln. If that doesn't define the meaning of Half Witted, nothing else will.

You supporters of the failed right politics like to shift the blame for your decisions else wheres, don't you?

Logic ... something you lack.

If you bring them to America, they get our rights, and the burden of proof and rules of evidence apply.

Even barock, the faux law professor, knows this.

Forbes is stooge propaganda rag....... CRA only mandates that banks comply with it's provisions. private mortgage and equity firms are absolved from government regulations under Republican Rule.

There was no oversight of Wall Street and the swindles snookering Bankers into purchasing worthless mortgage securities as long term investment vehicles.

Anyone painting the picture that Banks were forced into Bad Loans do so because they have little to no respect for the intellectual capability of those who believe and repeat that nonsense.

Your sentiments are typical for a barbarian, despite the fact that most of the detainees are there with no evidence against them for wrong doing, but that didn't stop the Bush administration from kidnapping them from their communities and holding them indefinitely without charges or hearings.

You preferring to hang a man without evidence against him qualifies you as more of a savage than anyone incarcerated in Gitmo. That's as un-American as there can be.

The lack of oversight on Wall St. was a result of affirmative action at Federal agencies.

The dumbing of America by clinton has had disturning effects.
