<quoted text> Will you be expecting the child you abandoned and don't support to sponsor you? The kid will tell you to get screwed for being a irresponsible and scared father.
Excellent point.

A child born in this country should be able to sponsor his parents and siblings and not be separated from his or her family.
Why? Emigrating has separated families all over the world and since the beginning of time. Why should this group, in this country be afforded special rights? Every individual who ever emigrated to these shores left parents and siblings behind...it was part of the price paid for a better opportunity. They'll have to tough it out like everyone else has. Welcome to the American experience.

The only thing they have a hold on is their kids' entitlements.

Buy a dictionary. Emigrate, immigrate, migrate. Emigrate is often used in the past tense. It also refers to leaving a country, as in my grandfather emigrated from Italy and immigrated to America.
And what makes you think I want to get rid of "us"? I simply want people to do so legally, live within and be bound by this countries laws as much as every other citizen, like all the emigres in my family did, I want them to come to this great nation without their hands out for freebies, like those same people did. I want them to assimilate, rather than turn whole areas into exactly what they ran away from, learn the language rather than demanding America learn theirs.
Become part of the fabric of this nation, rather than threaten and dream of taking it over. A laughable dream at best, but that's what comes of the separation of culture and language. Vast areas in many cities and states (we see it here where I live) become mono-lingual and mono-cultural, and they seem to think this is reflected nationwide. It isn't.
I want them to think like Americans, to be Americans and stop clamoring for recognition as a separate race (which they are not) and for special status as a minority group. Either become part of us or get out.
Any questions?

So when a pregnant hooker swims across and pops her kid over here, are we supposed to give all the father candidates and their families a free pass in the name of family reunification? Birthright citizenship for children of illegals is stupid.
