Oct 10, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: NorCalBlogs

Global warming beater Justin Gillis of the New York Times had an article yesterday describing a new paper in the current issue of Nature magazine, the point of which seems to be scaring people with alarming global warming statistics.

Some things wrong here, but what do you expect from a clueless blogger.

1: Halloween is make believe. Global warming is real. There is no similarity.

2: It is not 'just in time'. The data has been collecting for three decades of intense scrutiny and the projectd 'tipping point' is 34 years in the future.

But close enough for the totally clueless and those who just like to make silly subject lines.

The "some things wrong here" is:

Paul C.("Chip") Knappenberger is the Administrator of the World Climate Report, a blog published by New Hope Environmental Services, "an advocacy science consulting firm" run by global warming skeptic, Patrick J. Michaels.

No, Halloween is real, it's right here on my calendar, and it has been every year I've been alive.
Global warming is not real,... And before you rupture a blood vessel, what I mean is ANTHROPOGENIC Global Warming is not real, not a single piece of direct evidence.

So sad to see the impaction of particulate silicon create irritation in your fibromuscular tubular tract.

Everything you think you know is wrong.

Nice deflection, since it proves everything you thought you knew is wrong.
I'll give you a golf clap for being cutely tenacious in your ignorance.

So you believe in Santa Claus? After all, it is also on the calender. Oh, and April Fools is on some calenders. I guess they mean you but you are a fool all year round. As to Halloween, I hope the witches and zombies get you. After all, Halloween is 'on the calender' so Halloween (a day when the dead rise)'must be real'.

So much for PolyNuthouse.

Science does not demand that evidence be 'direct'. Look at the atom. We have no 'direct' evidence of it, yet we 'believe' in matter.

Science is looking for COMPELLING evidence. Evidence that cannot be argued or wished away. AGW falls into this category, so your 'wishing it away' is not science.

Wow, you must have one F'ed up calendar, I don't have "Santa Claus" on any of my calendar, but that was a nice little pathetic attempt at defeating a strawman.

Global warming as an anthropogenic factor is no more compelling than the flat earth BS, mostly because the idiots proposing AGW are using flawed 2 dimensional models in which there is no night and day.

One doesn't need to wish away goblins or AGW, they are both imaginary.
