A Maine newspaper's request for information about gun permit owners ignited such an outcry among gun-rights advocates and state lawmakers that on Friday the newspaper withdrew it.

Exactly, all this shatt about publishing owner's names is backfiring and creating a rise amongst gun owners to work against these pigs. Same with the politicization of the Sandy Hook tragedy. Once people who are gun owners who have somehow been in polls stating they are for "UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND CHECKS" realize that the only way for such a thing to even attempt to work is for it to start with "UNIVERSAL GUN REGISTRATION", then they will see the light and come to their senses as well.
