So....$10 mil from Kodak and $13 mil from the taxpayers (the D&C quotes this figure at $18 mil).... Who really benefits from this expansion? The school and students who currently pay $45,000 for the privilege of attending the UR...
What about the general public? If there was a Garth Fagan Dance event, that cost a family of four (with two of them students) approx.$100.... A philharmonic concert would run approx.$80 for the back row seats... I guess the few who can afford the tickets will enjoy the taxpayer subsides... |

I stand corrected.... tuition, room and board is now approx.$47,200.....
The UR endowment is at approx.$1.77 Billion... With all this in mind, the taxpayers and Kodak shareholders should be pleased to support a struggling institution such as the UR...... |
