Is the drug your taking associated with health risks? Has it been recalled but still sitting in your medicine chest? You could check your favorite news site for updates on these headlines, but you’ll have to do a lot of sifting, and if Britney’s in the news, you’ll never hear about it.
Now there’s a site where all these stories are sorted for your reading ease. You can track the downfall of all the big drugs, and it is never going to get side-tracked by celebrity gossip.
Read these stories and you can even embed the feeds from The Feed Store http://www.the-feed-store.com onto your site or blog.

Regarding benzodiazepines like Klonopin (clonazepam) and Valium....there is a specific exclusion written into the Medicare Part D law that states they will not pay for ANY benzodiazepine prescriptions. It doesn't give a reason....just states it as such. This means there's no getting them covered unless you can petition your congressman or woman and/or senator about this exclusion....or at least find out why they'd put it in there. I mean, other than to save money......

Hi Pam, I realize this is really really late, but just came across this website. I have AARPMedicareEnhancedRX~they do cover benzo's, actiq is still expensive with them, they don't cover muscle relaxers-but they are pretty cheap depending on which one you need. I take clonazepam, ativan, zanaflex, restoril (for sleep) and quite a few othes and they cover them all. I'm sorry I didn't find this sooner, so you could get on the plan for this year, but keep it in the back of your mind for next year.
How much is actiq under this plan? For all the questions about the generic name for actiq, it is fentanyl citrate oral transmucosal. I too am on medicare and have been cut off actiq(generic) I was on 4 yrs. Tried Aetna for plan D, was denied actiq for not having cancer. Good Luck to everyone.
