Among other thing my husband takes Altace. Can anyone tell me when this drug first came out? It is high on our formulary list even though we do have prescription coverage. Thanks

If you can't afford Coreg then ask your physician to prescribe the generic. I felt dizzy and unable to function during the first 2 hours 100% with Coreg. I found that I tolerate Coreg CR much better. And after a few weeks I am highly satisfied with it.

PLEASE be aware that the "generic" for coreg can and does cause side effects. my mother broke out in hives from the generic. AFTER re-enrolling in the HUMANA prescription plan, they decided in january to stop paying for the coreg.

Has anyone noticed that the generic form of coreg doesn't seem to work quite as well. I take coreg to slow my heart rate down, supress a premature beat as well as lower blood pressure. Since going on the generic form my blood pressure has risen significantly. I know that other things can contribute to higher blood pressure but I have a concern that the generic may not be as effective for me.

Try Wal-Mart's $4.00 prescription program. They just added some new drugs and I believe a generic of Coreg can be found there under the name of Carvedilol because the patent on Coreg has expired. Also I'd like to know is it now ok for US citizens to purchase drugs from Canada? If not, what are the ramifications of such?

Is the drug your taking associated with health risks? Has it been recalled but still sitting in your medicine chest? You could check your favorite news site for updates on these headlines, but you’ll have to do a lot of sifting, and if Britney’s in the news, you’ll never hear about it.
Now there’s a site where all these stories are sorted for your reading ease. You can track the downfall of all the big drugs, and it is never going to get side-tracked by celebrity gossip.
Read these stories and you can even embed the feeds from The Feed Store http://www.the-feed-store.com onto your site or blog.
