And another one bites the dust. State legislators - ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION? The space may be ideally suited for lab work, but what company in their right mind would want to move INTO the anti-business climate of Connecticut?

Our government does not give a hoot about us, come on!
Everyday we get closer and closer to becoming a third world country and "they" don't give a damn.

Why do we keep taking it up the a$$ from the companies that abandon America? Turn the screws and refuse to purchase the products! Anyone know of a list of companies that bailed out on America, yet continue to reap the rewards?

Why don't we just lower the minimum wage to $0, get rid of all taxes for corporations (as if they don't have enough write-offs), and get rid of the capital gains tax? Then they'll stay in CT! Yeah!

Nothing like putting profits over your own country.

Can we have lower prices at least? Last time I checked, Nike sneakers were still $80 (for baby shoes) and they are made in China, by children, for what- 30 cents??? We don't even reap the benefits of this rampant exploitation! what good is it?????????

you live in South Carolina, where toothpaste is considered a frivolous purchase, and t-shirts in WalMart are only on the racks, not on the bodies walking through the store. Keep talking trash, you classy na zi.

AVA, any relation to Adolf?

I'm insulted that you are a citizen of this country. You really shouldn't be.

'You sound very ignorant as since you have never been to this area ' how the f do you know WHERE I've been? The sad truth is South Carolina is filled with racists, homophobes and other ignoramuses who SHOP WITH NO SHIRTS ON. Are you really going to debate that? Go down to your neighborhood auto supply store when you are hankering to see some man titties.

Appalling that a story about jobs being off shored had to elicit a comment like that. So how do you know these smells aren't from say Pakistani or Bangladeshi or Sri lankan cooking? Same spices same smell. Indian food is all the rage all over Europe and Asia. Try it you just might like it. About job loss this is due to your capitalist system and a little thing called globalization. Globalization that India or the 3rd world never invented. You guys who keep thinking the government should be doing something to rescue you from this mess about are kidding yourselves. There are forces in the world greater than what any politician can do to stop now. You should've opted for a communist system or atleast a very closed economic system from the get go if you wanted 'job security'. Also I find it strange that tens if not hundreds of thousands of jobs have over the years been shipped off to destinations like Japan and China and nobody was making such a big deal out of it. Your country once had thriving Automotive and Steel business that are nowhere near what once was. Was blue collar job loss not that important for you to get out and lodge protest?
