With the rapid development of China’s packaging and printing technologies, three-dimensional printing technology has seen a steady rise in popularity in recent years. It uses adhesive materials like powder metal and plastics to print on objects, layer by layer.
As 3D printing becomes more widely available, so the folding carton industry is paying closer attention to this technology. In theory, a delicate folding carton box can support 3D printing, as long as the source image is digital. Currently, the technology is enjoying more and more widespread use in folding carton packaging.
For the traditional printing and packaging industry, 3D printing is both a vital opportunity and a pressing challenge. Asia-Pacific’s only trade platform to display folding carton post-press equipment, consumables, technologies and services, SinoFoldingCarton 2013 will feature a “3D Creative Printing Display Zone” where suppliers of 3D printing equipment will be able to meet numerous interested buyers and close key business deals with folding carton companies.
Reed Exhibitions, organizers of SinoFoldingCarton 2013, will partner with Shenzhen Mootooh Technology to promote the development of 3D printing technology in the folding carton industry. Shenzhen Mootooh is a specialist producer of graphic printing machines, cutting plotters, printing inks, printer heads, inkjet printers, carving machines, banner printing machines, flag printing machines, printers for recycled paper/postcards and printers that use UV light technology.
The 3D Creative Printing Display Zone will illustrate the entire printing process for the various kinds of delicate folding carton boxes, which do not support gluing. Visitors will be able to see, first hand, the revolutionary impact 3D printing technology has had on folding carton printing.
Shenzhen Mootooh will unveil two new spraying printing machines and eight 3D printers in the zone. These devices have been specifically designed and developed to meet the diverse demands of users in terms of precision, materials that can be printed on and price.
The “3D Creative Printing Display Zone” is set to be a major highlight for printing and packaging industry professionals from across Asia-Pacific. Visitors and exhibitors are sure to witness extraordinary scientific breakthroughs there.
