Nine Dragon Paperís Quanzhou Project to Become Xiamen Port Import Giant

The Haicang and Dongdu Bureaus of Xiamen Inspection & Quarantine Bureau recently signed strategic cooperation agreements with Xiamen Port Holding Group. The contract stipulates that both sides will form a working group to serve Nine Dragon Paper (Holdings) Limitedís Quanzhou project. The project is expected to process an annual import volume of 200,000 standard cases at Xiamen Port.
One of the biggest packaging paperboard producers in the world, the Nine Dragon Paper Group has five large production bases in Dongguan, Taicang, Chongqing, Tianjin and Quanzhou. As a high-end packaging paperboard enterprise, Nine Dragon started construction of its new operation in Quanzhou in 2010 and is expected to commence production in Q2 2013. The planned annual import volume is 200,000 standard cases.
